Is Jim Cramer TheStreet Worth It?

One of our favorite perks about TheStreet is that there are so many options available to choose from.

If you just want a little boost to your investing knowledge for $10 a month, TheStreet has an option for you.

Or if you want to ball out on an all-in-one package that has everything you need, you can do that too!

This is a great option if you’re just using TheStreet to get your news. However…

…We have some problems with Jim Cramer’s stock picks performance over the last couple of decades.

Unfortunately, the Action Alerts PLUS portfolio has underperformed the S&P 500 by almost 200% since its inception.

So, if you’re looking for a stock picking service to help you beat the market, then TheStreet is not worth it.

If you want to beat the market, we recommend the Motley Fool instead.

The Motley Fool’s Stock Advisor list has beaten the S&P 500 by almost 400% since the list started in 2002!

TheStreet Pros and Cons

Now, let’s talk about what we love and don’t love about this Jim Cramer website.

Pros

There is a lot of information available.

It doesn’t matter what kind of investor you are or what type of finance you’re interested in; TheStreet has an article or a newsletter for you.

There’s a free trial.

If you want to test out a premium subscription on TheStreet before you buy it, you can get a 14-day free trial absolutely FREE!

Cons

There is a lot of information available.

This is in both the pros section and the cons section because the amount of information available on the platform might be overwhelming for some users.

If you want a specialized website to get you only the information you need, TheStreet might be too much.

Navigating the site is difficult.

There are so many sections and subsections of the website that you might get lost trying to find the information you’re looking for.

Final Thoughts

We hope you’ve found this Jim Cramer review helpful.

TheStreet from Jim Cramer is an all-inclusive financial news site that has information on just about everything finance.

If you’re looking to dive into some financial literature, TheStreet has plenty of that.

But if you’re looking for a reliable stock picker that will help you beat the market, you might want to look elsewhere.
