January 10th It’s launch day! The Wall Street Survivor 2022 Kickoff Contest begins today, and our investors are FLYING out of the gate. Make sure to sign up now so you don’t miss out on any trading time! January 18th Week two, go! Don’t forget to check out the Motley Fool and Zacks if you’re looking for some help putting your portfolio together. January 21st Week two is all wrapped up! With almost 150 traders signed up and making gains, the competition is really picking up. January 24th The end of this week will mark the halfway point of the contest, with $500 going to the investor at the top of the leaderboard when the market closes on Friday. January 28th Halfway there! Make sure to get all of your trades in before the market closes at 4:00pm EST today. Whoever leads the competition at that point will get a prize! January 31st We have now started the second half of the 2022 Kickoff Contest. If you didn’t get your hands on the halfway point prize, don’t worry – there’s plenty more where that came from! February 4th With more than 180 traders signed up for the contest, it’s looking like the second half will be quite a competition! Keep on trading! February 9th We are now at over 200 investors! - Each individual is allowed only one portfolio in any contest.
- Winners will be contacted by email to receive their prize. This must be the email address associated with your account. If you need to change your email address, contact support@wallstreetsurvivor.com.
- Every contest has a starting portfolio value of $100,000 USD, allows only US equities and ETFs.
- Day trading and short selling are permitted in all contests.
- 500 max trades per account.
- 25% position limit.
- Margin trading is allowed. 8% interest will be charged on loan balances.
- All winners will be audited, and disqualifications will take place at our team’s sole discretion.
- Winners must claim their prize within 30 days of the results being announced.
- We may ask winners to provide a photo ID upon claiming their prize as part of our auditing process.
