About me Day trader focusing on momentum stocks. Visit JBPicks.com for daily stock picks and market analysis. Read my BLOG at JBPicks.blogspot.com. Go long on the top 2 sector leaders for 5 day performance and short the bottom 2 stocks for each sector. Use a stop loss order to sell or cover at 3%. Adjust your stops frequently to trail behind current price and lock in profit gains. I don't like to hold stocks for more than 6 hours so I buy and sell every day and close all positions before the bell. Traders sleep better with all cash and no stocks. Try toggling the F11 key to create more usable space on your browser. This will switch between normal mode and full screen mode. Watch me 'dublfold' some bottle caps on youtube in the "Strong Thumb Challenge"!!! Happy trading! Long and Short. JB
Get ahead of the game with realtime market quotes for as little as $10.99 a month!
How are you my friend. Check out the post, Now the hard part begins, under OFF TOPIC.
Hi Seaglass: Good Morning. Just passing by to say hello and to thank you. The last few days I have been visiting your BLOG before my tradings for the day and I am trading better. (I am sorry for my English is not as good as yours but I am giving the try). Anyway, thank you very much. Have a nice day!

Hi New BuddyLooks like you have the magic touch when it comes to day trading. When I try it, the results usually aren't pretty. I've had good gains from ContraFunds like SMN (up 104% this month!!!)along with AGA, EEV, SCC, and TWM. If interest rates drop, we may have a play on UPW (Utilities). I try to let the 30-day price/volume charts tell me if we are on the right side of the market. By the way, I also use FIrefox as our browser and love it. Thanks for all the info!
Thanks for the info. I need alot of help.
I figured out to make this application fly! Use Firefox browser with NoScript and AdBloc. Allow scripts to run from WSS (in NoScript) but nowhere else. This cuts download time in half and executes faster.
hey stranger, good to see ya back!
September 30, 2008 10:29 AM Market Short 2700 TBSI @ $12.95 Order#529F08 Order qty reduced to 1600 (Significantly different from my valid order) 10:45 AM The current price of TBSI is $13.23 10:45 AM STOP COVER GTC 2628 TBSI @ $13.21 Order#E04D97 (note difference in qty does not coincide with above qty) THIS ORDER SHOULD HAVE EXECUTED IMMEDIATELY AS A MARKET COVER BUT FAILED TO DO SO. 11:00 AM Current price of TBSI is $12.9611:15 AM Current price of TBSI is $13.35 2nd chance to execute stop cover failed again!11:30 AM Current price of TBSI is $13.70 Stop cover order fails to execute - it has plenty of time and difference in price. 11:41 AM I noticed the price of TBSI was well above my STOP COVER order price so I cancelled the STOP COVER ORDER THAT FAILED TO EXECUTE!!! 11:41 AM Market Cover 2628 TBSI @ $13.76 Order#213094 6.25% LOSS - My stop loss order was for 2%. This is clearly a bug and I don't know how the technical staff can deny these facts! When the price rises above the stop cover price - a market order should have triggered. It remained as an OPEN STOP COVER ORDER for about 1 hour before I noticed my losses exceeded my stop loss order percentage by more than 3 to 1. This is a BUG! Please fix it.

I have not made any trades since Oct 3, 2008 yet my portfolio chart has gone up without holding any stocks. I guess I am collecting interest on my cash?
How are you doing today my friend.
