Logout & login often to be ranked & stay eligible for prizes

Weekly Prize Eligibility Rule: To be eligible for weekly prizes, you must login at least once between Saturday 12:00AM – Friday 4:00PM. If you do not login, your ranking for the week will be ZERO and you’ll not show up on weekly rankings page. Additionally, your Starting Portfolio Value for the week must be minimum $25,000.

Monthly Prize Eligibility Rule: To be eligible for monthly prizes, you must login at least once during the month. If you do not login, your ranking for the month will be ZERO and you’ll not show up on monthly rankings page. Additionally, your Starting Portfolio Value for the month must be minimum $25,000.

Required: To make sure that you are being picked up correctly as "logged in" – make sure to logout and login again more often.

Survey to Active Users

There are no charges for real $

Redfox, indeed you are a very wise man.  I am hoping to do better in the last quarter's game.  With such a low ranking, should I just continue as Riches4me or should I start a new player name.  When they start the new quarter on 9/2, will they start everyone back at the $100,000 level or do you just continue where you are at?

Oh, thank you so much for responding to my plea for help and accepting me as your buddy.  I will try not to ask for help very often.  The closest thing I have ever done is buy a position in QID, which was in real life.  I hope you can answer this before the market open’s on Monday.  Before I got your message, I decided I should probably cover them ASAP in as much as the market was down so low Thurs. & Fri., I figured  I will probably get hit with bargain hunter stock buyers Monday, so Friday night, I initiated a sell on 4 of my biggest losers thinking that I had to cover my positions and due to the fact that I am like 99 % invested in stocks .  Okay, I won’t press the cover button until it says I am getting a profit.  However, in the real market, don’t you only have a certain amount of time to cover your shorts, after that particular company starts moving into higher territory?  Also, I now owe $1,026.56 interest on my short 3 position of $9,372.58 – that’s nearly 10% and I just initiated the short positions Thursday morning.  I thought the interest charge was 8%.  Exactly how do they charge interest.  So, should I cancel the sells, as I hate to sell something that I figure will come back higher after such a big drop in the market.  Isn’t that like locking in the loss, otherwise the loss is only a paper loss.  I’m perfectly willing to wait to cover as long as the interest won’t end up costing me any more.  It’s just like my luck, as soon as I short something, people start buying it.  I shorted SRS & SKF – who could figure??
