I've been carring FSLR for a long time, since I started this game... it drops, I drop it but for some reason I always come back.. it started climbing and i kept it. just wish I had put more $$ intot it. but it was all I had at the time..  now if the other solar's would take off....in y permanent port, I paid $36.00 for it and have 1500 shares.. what that it was in this port.. !   LOL

Thanks for the compliment. I wish I had gone with BG MOS MON like my son did.  I made a few bucks from AG which is heavy machinery and BAC which is financial. I am still looking for alternative energy and heavy machinery to be a good play when the new administration takes over.

Been stuck at work so much lately, I can't keep an eye on the market. Won't be able to next week either due to the big turkey day sales week. I did manage to shore up some damages yesterday and today. SKF should be an awesome short now that it hit a record high, gonna love riding it down! Started buying some other stocks as they seem to be at a stable base price now. Most of my money went back in to the market today as I was sitting mostly cash for a while now. As for O.B., I think the market just plain tanks no matter what politician speaks now! Go figure! The market will eventually get better with or without gov't help, in the mean time, gotta enjoy the bargains while I can grab them!

This is the way to go.  You want to make a ton of money.  Put HVAG in your portfolio.  Believe me you will make money when you do the first time your welcome second time I want to say thank you. Ciao for now

What can I say, got lucky again! Love it when the market tanks seems easier to play when people panic then when the market doesn't panic! I don't know. Kept SKF, and shorted all the US exchanges Friday. All the exchanges except CME made money. Only lost $650 on that one. Probably going to cover all the shorts tomorrow and cash in the profits. The market may begin to have a small rally from bargain hunters.

I only use SKF for the fun days when finance is in turmoil. Usually good for some gains when I day trade it. I know what you mean about the foreign news, I lived in europe for 9 years back in my Navy days. Seen 22 countries during my tour, it is nice to have their perspective on things. I also keep track of their markets prior to ours opening as it can sometimes tell what ours may be up to for the day.

so whats your take on the bail out?  Do you think posturing will go on until the world market crashes or are they waiting for the villagers with torches to show up at their doors?

I am not sure what the final bill will look like, but they will pass something. I am so sick of politicians who are afraid to do anything or stand for anything! Everyone wants to be seen as middle of the road, bipartisan, "good team players". They are just all trying to cover their butts in case it doesn't work, they can blame someone else. They are all sweating bullets because it is so close to election season. If they would stop trying to make sure they are reelected and actually do something productive with the responsibility they have been trusted with, this country would be a lot better off. Thats my two cents, I think something will be done, I am not sure if it will help long term though. There are some fundamental problems with the system we have now, and governmental policies are what messed everything up in the first place. Usually all they manage to do is make things worse.
