    sharp ratio in layman's terms..it's a ratio used to measure risk. Anything lower than 1, the greater the risk and anything higher than 1, the lower the risk per unit. The 1 number is fluid and can change but usually tracks the treasury bills. A sharpe of 2 is great and 3+ is "amazing" in terms of risk. Higher the number, the better.
