LOL  I have stuck with 10 or less this contest and was doing much better even holding a little profit until 3 weeks ago when I shorted financials and airlines and they spiked up the same day I shorted them and have been going up ever since. This is the first time I have gotten myself in a twist on shorts, it has always been long positions before that did me in. I too am looking forward to the next contest.

Barbara, Scottrade charges $7 a trade. Penny stocks are 7 plus a small percentage, but for the most part trades are $7. I've been with Scottrade for 4 years now, I like it.

Thanks for the info mafik13. What does Scottrade charge to make a trade and are there other fees? I know they offer a lot of really extensive and good charts.
