This is a reply to a wall message you wrote to me a while back.  I only read to the part about McCain's voting record being 90% the same as Bush when I started writing back.  The reasons why I could never vote for Obama and why I have to vote for McCain are many.  While some are important ones for why I am voting for McCain, unfortunately I have more reasons why Not to vote for Obama.  Great reason to vote McCain and probably the best overall to not vote for Obama is:

McCain has never once wrote any earmarks into any legislation.  Obama on the other hand has written in so many earmarks to benefit his running around pack and the other people who have him in their back pockets is numerous to say the least.  Think about it.  McCain has Never stole money in an underhanded way with these deficit exploding earmarks they love to supplement theirs and as many of their friends as possible.  Personally I think all earmarks should not be allowed, made unconstitutional at the least and Congressional leaders who have used them should have to recind those and force the collection of those currently in use.  The gov't. wants even more tax dollars and these earmarks are why.  Same with subsidies.  If your business can't make it without a subsidy, your business needs to find a better way to compete like say imposing tarrifs on imports like other countries impose upon our shipped goods.  Gov't. created subsidies in place of tarriffs only because it forces the money to be channelled through the IRS instead of an agency then to the IRS.  More money for the big boys to divide amongst themselves.  Obama wants to increase subsidies, raise taxes on everyone and turn this nation into a pile of steaming socialist turd in order to give more control to the gov't. over our lives.  Freewill is being shoved aside as is our liberties will still have left.  Fact is that gov't. has never done anything efficiently and has always made the problem it gets involved in worse.  Take any choice you want and this will be true.  Deregulation of the phone companies, the electric.  Both have ended up doing the same thing.  Costing consumers a bill that is way higher than before.  When the forst regulated these companies it did the same thing.  Caused the cost to the consumer a lot more than before.  Guess what, now they are talking again of re- regulating.  (I wonder why, with all the overspending and earmarks, subsidies, special intrests and under budgeted projects all the crooks in DC comit).  Obama fully supports these things and will do nothing to Change them.  In fact when he raises taxes on everyone to pay for all the free money he wants to give away to people who don't pay taxes and also raises the capital gains tax and the corporate taxes.  What he will effectively cause is the total implosion of America because when capital gains are brought back to his desired levels he will finalize the bankruptcy of all those 401k's and IRA's and other retirement accounts.  The corporate tax he will raise will only be passed along in the form of extra charges to the people who hold accounts and anyone purchasing anything from a business.  Don't ever kid yourself, businesses that stay in business don't pay taxes, they pass them along to their clients and customers.  Plus with any they might owe can almost always be completely offset with other write-offs.  His raising medicaid and F.I.C.A. taxes will also come from our paychecks in two ways once again.  If you don't know, your employer pays half of your income taxes.  Every dollar you see on the FICA and medicare or caid deduction is only half of what is collected on you.  This means simply that your employer can not pay you the full amount you should be receiving because it has to pay that to the government.  This is a little known fact and one that is not fully understood by workers.  That they are being robbed and stolen from by the federal gov't., state and local gov't. agencies all across America.  McCain wants to try and keep the minor amount of tax relief we received under Bush in place.  Every Democrat on the hill does not.  The democrats are the ones controlling Congress for the past two years and are the worst rated by all polls in the history of polls conducted.  The worst at what they do.  Now with the collapse of the banks and the stock market what did they do to fix the problem They created?  They did what has been the cause of the problem all along.  Bailouts and accounting laws designed to cause the failure of companies.  I've been an opponent of GAAP laws since I heard of them.  These are used to manipulate numbers in ways that only CPA's and maybe a lawyer could decipher.  Obama wants change alright, change from mine and your pckets and wallets into his.  His sob stories he and his wife tell about having to take out loans to go to college and being poor growing up are lies.  They were both middle class and so what if they had to take out a loan to go to college?  Everyone does because college is expensive.  why is it expensive?  I think it is because colleges and universities are regulated by the gov't.  Imagine that!  Another something that has risen astronomically since gov't involved itself in it.  Take energy sectors.  Gov't. regulations and taxes have caused its costing consumers untold amounts.  Amounts that would make you storm the capitol if you knew.  Just the fact that now that the gas and oil companies have figured out how to tap into the shales across America in a way that allows them to do so and make a profit has unleashed a new line for the local and state agencies to collect money.  And get this, the land that these local entities lease to the gas companies and collect revenue on is land owned by the gov't and as such the proceeds collected should be used to benefit the people in the communities.  I think directly by paying homeowners property taxes.  Not a chance here where I live, the city council has formed a non profit (yeah right)group
