ummmmm, i guess that i have a little explaining to do. my strategy has changed just a weeee little bit (tweaked). and so to test the tweaked strategy/philosophy i had to do it. i had to do it! i reset my portfolio. and so i just had to tell you that i hadn't really done anything right to get it back to $100k. it had been hanging out around 30k for the last month. my new strategy is to have 20 stocks and put only $5,000 into each one of them. that way if one company goes bankrupt, like what happened to me in the last round, it won't destroy my portfolio. so how ya doin? how ya been? any big plans for the weekend? are all of your rentals filled?

yeah, folding the laundry is another meditative activity too. i lost 17,000 on vse which is bad, but at least it's no longer in my portfolio. i don't have to look at it anymore. with the new 10q's coming out soon, i might do some restructuring with my account. i'll sell some, but it doesn't matter, i can't buy anything because i'm a long, long ways away from having any buying power. in my philosophy a person should own at least 20 stocks with no more than 5% of ones investment in any stock. it keeps a person from getting hammered too hard if any one company goes under. you would only lose 5% of your total investment at the most. at least you have equity building up on your rentals, that's always nice. well, gotta run, but you take care, and have a great weekend k.

hey sandy, you did great job today!!! good job, really! yeah, i hear ya, i don't mind paying 10 dollars for a banquet meal, but if the conversation isn't all that interesting then the food had better be good! and i love your idea of the bingo too, there should be some sort of entertainment. i'm so glad that you're sleeping better too. if you ever can't sleep, or are having problems with anxiety than try teaching yourself meditation. it's very relaxing and the perfect form of prayer. too often in prayer we do all the talking, and none of the listening. meditation helps us to both relax, and listen. anyways, it works for me. the numbers for my port last night weren't correct. it overstated two stocks, today one was corrected but the other wasn't, and so it is still saying that i'm greener than what i am. i lost 17,000 on my favorite stock. they decided they wanted to make more money by hedging the price of corn commidites, and the price went the opposite direction. they lost 100 million in one quarter. that was a very stupid move, and i couldn't really have seen it coming. i try to learn from my mistakes, but this time i just don't know what i did wrong, i just should have not put more than 5% of my portfolio on the stock. they went bankrupt, and now i'm hurtin for certain. well, i'm glad this is a game, and i think that i've learned from it. well, it's been nice talkin with ya, i hope that your new tenant works out perfectly, and i hope that she gives her new place a nice paint job, and gives it a lot of love. take care.

that's so awesome sandy!!! i have never heard of the program before, and i don't  think that we have it here in moab, but that's so awesome that your taking part in this. it means alot to alot of people i'm sure.

well, it looks like today is a good day so far. it's nice to be seeing green again. i'm glad that you had a great visit. did you take them to a haunted house, or is your house haunted? well, i hope that you got your house rented today, and i hope that you had a great weekend. good luck today, and take care.

holy smokes sandy, what a great week yir having!!!! good job, and way to go! oh yeah, and keep it up! so how did your visit go? is your company still there, or did they take off? as far as market crashes go, that's what they are calling this, but i believe that it's just a market correction from the extreme increase in the market from 1980 until now. the low during this whole fiasco until took us back to 2003. it could have been a lot worse from the way the charts read. it looks like the market has found plenty of support at 8000, and so this should be it. during my training on market activity i was given the impression that you should expect something like this about every seven years or so, and so i guess what i'm trying to say is that we need to learn what we can from this because it will be happening again in our lifetime. my prediction is that within one year we'll be back up to 10,000, in two years we'll be at 12,000, and in three years we'll have set a new high. that's my story and i'm sticking to it. oh yeah, and i should tell you now that i'm the victim of wishful thinking. another prediction that i have is that obama will become president, and this will hurt big business, but the experts are already saying that the future is in our small to medium business enterprise which shouldn't be taxed too hard. yeah right, ssssure! ah i guess we'll just have to wait and see. as for me, i'm not voting, but keep an optimistic outlook toward whoever ends up in office. i just can't vote for obama, i mean that i just can't vote democratic. i can't vote for mccain either though, even though i'm sure that he's a good person. i'll let america decide, but truth is that i can't decide, and so i won't. well, it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood so live it up!!!!
