Logout & login often to be ranked & stay eligible for prizes

Weekly Prize Eligibility Rule: To be eligible for weekly prizes, you must login at least once between Saturday 12:00AM – Friday 4:00PM. If you do not login, your ranking for the week will be ZERO and you’ll not show up on weekly rankings page. Additionally, your Starting Portfolio Value for the week must be minimum $25,000.

Monthly Prize Eligibility Rule: To be eligible for monthly prizes, you must login at least once during the month. If you do not login, your ranking for the month will be ZERO and you’ll not show up on monthly rankings page. Additionally, your Starting Portfolio Value for the month must be minimum $25,000.

Required: To make sure that you are being picked up correctly as "logged in" – make sure to logout and login again more often.

WSS reset me after discovering the issues/ glitches with the Stops.

My understanding was that Stop Loss orders are set in stone, Stop Limit orders are approximate limits and the Market maker can skip over them.

thats how stop/limit orders work. limits are suppose to be a little more carved in stone but stops become market purchases after the stop target has been hit. theres a stop limit order but i dont think wss does that. so your limit orders should be pretty close to the limit you set but with stops they act as a market order once the stop order price has hit so may fluctuate greatly.

took me a lot of money to learn how to use them properly lol and NO i dont mean in game.

oh ya, why the sudden rank change? was that wss's doing?

No I'm not a pro, I just had a few days off that allowed me to try some Day/Swing trading. Now that I've got some funds to play with, its time to look at some long term investments. Anyone got any tips?

thank you for your kind words. yes, i do play the market outside of this game. not currently into iras, mutual funds, cds, or of the sort main reason being i am very skeptical to the way our economy is looking right now and honestly do not trust our government with my money. i'll be glad to share a lot of info with you regarding the subject matter at hand later today or this week. im busy with finals week, but when time allows me to i will definitely get back to you! i too, along with the rest of the world, have been working hard into early retirement, hopefully i'll be able to help you find out what best suits you and your lifestyle :) i can only support facts and info, where everyone goes from there is entirely up to the individual
