Weekly Prize Eligibility Rule: To be eligible for weekly prizes, you must login at least once between Saturday 12:00AM – Friday 4:00PM. If you do not login, your ranking for the week will be ZERO and you’ll not show up on weekly rankings page. Additionally, your Starting Portfolio Value for the week must be minimum $25,000.

Monthly Prize Eligibility Rule: To be eligible for monthly prizes, you must login at least once during the month. If you do not login, your ranking for the month will be ZERO and you’ll not show up on monthly rankings page. Additionally, your Starting Portfolio Value for the month must be minimum $25,000.

Required: To make sure that you are being picked up correctly as "logged in" – make sure to logout and login again more often.

Survey to Active Users

We sent out a survey on August 20th to active users on WSS. The results will be compiled on Monday August 25th and first 1,000 respondents will be awarded 500 loyalty points. So, if you have not already completed the survey, check your email now to access the survey.

Never buy a stock using market orders.  I never, ever use market order when traing but every time I've taded on wallstreet survivor I've used the market order.  This is a big mistake and I've suffered for it. ALWAYS use a limit order when buying.  If you miss the buy, usless you know what you're doing don't chase the buy.

Hey, tks for the response! Just wanted to let you know the name of the book, it is called "Wallstreet Money Machine" by Wade Cook. He tells a story about being a cab driver and making over $3,000 a month by taking all of the short runs while his co-workers all wait around for the longer fares. He termed it the "meter drop". So that is how I was taught to trade. Take the money when you see it. My highest over night trade was $11,500 on a $600 investment! We're talking options. Anyway I got used to that, fast. Too fast. It might have helped me to start out by making small amounts in the beginning. I am going to conquer this "GREED MONSTER".

Goodday MrFletchman! That was some very good advice that you shared about "cutting losses", very good indeed! I now know that, and am trying to just TAKE THE MONEY!  Wade Cook's "meter drop" technique is right on. I knew it three years ago and I still blew it by being greedy. So I am laying low in my "live accounts" and practicing on these virtual ones.  But I do love to trade options. The low investment and high return is quite thrilling! Have a wonderful day..
