I have been investing for about 5 years.  I really started to get "serious" about it 2 years ago.  I do a LOT of reading and research on various financial topics.  I would say that I have a Medium to High risk tolerance, and I am a long-term investor.  I will short some stocks, but only as a hedge to protect assets when the trends are changing.
