Hi Kari,  Well that sounds interesting. Thanks for telling me about the blood donation program.  Hopefully you can come down and visit our fair city sometime. Wish you luck in Atlantic City. I want to go to the Asheville N.C. mountains later in the year. Have you ever been there. It is a really cool town. Thanks for your sweet comments about my mom. She has advanced emphysema so it won't get much better from here. We are just trying to maintain some quality of life. She is on oxygen 24/7. Hope you strike it rich at the casino. I may open up a little account on BETUS again and bet on a couple of football games. That Sharebuilder account is a good way to do it, to avoid high fees. I've got an account with Scottrade and Ameritrade, along with my Fidelity Roth and Individual account. You ought to look into a ROTH IRA account. You don't get the tax break now but it continues to grow. When you decide to take it out at 59 1/2 or older, you pay zero taxes on it. You have a significant time frame to build this up by dollar cost averaging in your deposits. That way , you don't have to worry if the market is up or down, when you put it in.

I wanted to see how everything was. This has been a rough last couple of weeks. My mom had to go back in the hospital but is out now. She has advanced emphysema. My older kitty Susie [13] has been sick as well. I am looking forward however to an active good weekend.

I am doing fine. I took Monday off and plan to get out a little this weekend. I'm starting to look  forward to summer winding down , so we can get some cooler weather. We are still a couple of months away.
