As you may already know, I have a new project going on (mentioned in the Washington Post) where I am trying to raise $100k that will allow for

1) a live trading account 

2) continued benefit for orphans in Ukraine 

3) endow another top Wall Sreet Survivor to trade a live $100k account. 

I want to work for it rather than ask for donations so I started a blog where I publish my best stock trading ideas twice daily and I'm asking my WSS buddies to simply visit my blog.  Hopefully you'll click on a Google ad that interests you or use the banner links to make an online Christmas purchase.  When you get a chance, can you visit and help me reach this goal soon?  Thank you!

Logout & login often to be ranked & stay eligible for prizes

Weekly Prize Eligibility Rule: To be eligible for weekly prizes, you must login at least once between Saturday 12:00AM – Friday 4:00PM. If you do not login, your ranking for the week will be ZERO and you’ll not show up on weekly rankings page. Additionally, your Starting Portfolio Value for the week must be minimum $25,000.

Monthly Prize Eligibility Rule: To be eligible for monthly prizes, you must login at least once during the month. If you do not login, your ranking for the month will be ZERO and you’ll not show up on monthly rankings page. Additionally, your Starting Portfolio Value for the month must be minimum $25,000.

Required: To make sure that you are being picked up correctly as "logged in" – make sure to logout and login again more often.

Survey to Active Users

We sent out a survey on August 20th to active users on WSS. The results will be compiled on Monday August 25th and first 1,000 respondents will be awarded 500 loyalty points. So, if you have not already completed the survey, check your email now to access the survey.

I too only have a small non-IRA account in stocks...but the IRA Mutuals aren't doing so good right now.  Soooo, even the "pros" are having a tough time of things.  Was in Egypt for about a month last year.  Loved Siwa and the Red Sea areas the most.  What is your favorite?

Thank goodness I don't have much of my own money in stocks.  I have a small account that isn't doing great, but I haven't lost everything so I guess I'm okay.

You are right...only the top ten percent or so of players are in the black right now.  Tough market to figure out.  David

Well Thank you to all of you for asking to be a buddy!!  I'm new at this buddy thing. I've been trying to do somewhat good in this game without success.  But I guess nobody is doing good in the stock market game right now.
