Well, I've been working extremely hard trying to be a good trader for a few weeks now. I've been reading alot and found that it is very important to follow tha S&P index ( oex ). I have access to real time charts through Ameritrade. I was looking at some ETF's on the website and found that the big fund managers (tech ) like ARBA quite a bit. Today, the S&P was tanking and so was arba. It made a turn a round and they started buying it ( that's their job, gee, must be nice ). So I got some here on wss but was only able to hold it a little while when the gains started to evaporate so I dumped it. Remember, they don't care about the commission. They probably pay less than I do....alot less. They are just looking for some nice guy who believes in buying and holding so they can give his money to their clients and get a gold star on top of that.
