DR:  I read your responses to magoo on that assinine forum he created and felt compelled to respond.. you might get a kick out of it.. I also noticed that he/she/it doesnt' even have a protfolio going so jsut how can he/she/it contribute let alone create the forums. thought you had to have an active portfolio working?

You should see the edited and doctored video I just got today, it is a new low on anything anyone has posted here on Obama,  I sent it to watchdog.   You said exactly what I have been thinking for a long time about some of the bloggers here, this is my first experience with political discussion between different parties and it didn't take me long to see who was just full of BS,  I really was independent before, but I will be a lifetime democrat now.

Hey DR, some of the righties ticked me off giving me a hard time so I filled the forum up with posts from a liberal site.  Guess we will see how they like that. I have been trying to keep it honest and post from bi-partisan only but since they decided to diss me on that, I thought I might as well give them something to holler about. LMAO

I have asked for it on the Definiton thread, and I am going to be slammed pretty hard by the republispins.  I really challenged them on the defintion of socialism by pointing that Canada which has nationlized medical and Hong Kong, Republic of China,  both have the highest rating for laissez-faire capitalism according to economic freedom indices and they aren't going to like it.  Kinda puts a kink in their socialism spew. I figure they will either slam me really hard or ignore it and let that thread die.  Thought you might be interested.

Thanks DR, very good explanation and just what I needed to understand, I knew if anyone could help me get past my stubborn spot on the issue. What you said makes sense and I now can agree the term. Thanks very much.

Dr, I hava question and since I respect your opinions so much I thought you would be the one to help me.   I seem to differ from pretty much the rest of the world on the wealtth distribution theory, even Obama and Hilary call it redistribution.  Here is my problem how is allowing a person who works to keep more of the money he makes fall under from my pocket to yours. Nobody is giving lower or middle class workers any money Obama plans to allow them to keep more of what they themselves earn.  Of course he is planning on making the wealthier pay more but he isn't giving any of that money to lower income tax payers.  And also if allowing lower and middle to keep more of the money they make is stealing from the rich to give to the poor would that not equally apply to allowing the rich to keep more of the money they earn, would that not also be redistribution but instead would be stealing from the poor to give to the rich ? Seems to me what is good for the goose is good for the gander.  Now taking somebodies money they earn and giving it to someone who doesn't work is wealth distribution but I just can't wrap my brain around how this applies to allowing somone to keep more of the money they work for and earn themselves. No one is giving any money they have not worked for to them just allowing them to keep more of what they worked for.  Anyway since I seem to differ on this from pretty much the rest of the world it suggests that I am wrong in my thinking and I really need someone to help me correct it, I am really hardheaded so it isn't easy, but I thought if anyone could do it that would be you.

DR, I have a question maybe you can help me with. JM is collecting 58K or so a year tax free disability. Now I know he was captured and tortured while defending this country and under normal circumstances I would say the man has more than earned it,but considering he is running for President on a Conservative platform would it not make more sense considering how wealthy he is to refute his claim to the disability on the premise that he does not need it. I may be confused but I thought one of the main themes of conservatives was reducing social spending. Doesn't JM's disability pay fall under the heading of social spending.

lol...I'm far removed from being left or right, and I'm proud of it.  If you review my posts carefully, I have little affilliation.. historically, I had to refrain from a specific view... but now that I don't have to worry, YAY! Thank you for the intellectual debates, I adore them.... ty

trying to find a group of, dare I say...LIBERALS (duh duh duh...) that i can relate with. There are a lot of repubs in this place, but that makes sense because they are the ones with the greed for big money in our country and want it to control everything. I loved you rant, keep on keepin on you mystical fairy.
