Hi Djomess, I began my trading career back in 2000. I’ve been in the market long enough, and most of the data I needed is already in my computer or on my desk or in my brain. First and foremost, I try to find the top issues in the market, and focus on them. I’ve been subscribing to ‘RealMoney.com’ since 2000, and subscribing two more personal news letters now. Plus CNBC.com., makertwatch.com, and msnmoneycentral.com help me to find out the top issues. Oil-dollar-credit crisis are the main issues now. All charts that I needed are in the sites mentioned above, but I usually check the SP500 chart (spy, spx, $inx) everyday; TDAmeritrade – research and idea – charts - $INX. I use screener only once in a while. TD Ameritrade streamer is the center of my trading data. Currently I have more than 500 stocks in the streamer listed by hot/major sectors; Agriculture, Fertilizer, Steel, coals, oil1, oil2, airline, homebuilder, solar, shipper, gold/silver, Dow30, Nasdaq100, semiconductor, soft/hardware, retails, banks, financials, credit bubbles, earnings, china stocks, healthcare, ETF’s, ..... When the market opens, I just run the ‘streamer’, and watch it half an hour screen by screen. I’m looking for stocks moving 10%+- a day. That’s how I find the most volatile sectors/stocks. I hope this will be of help to you. Wish you the best in this contest.

Hi djomess, Thanks for your kind words. I plan to spend more time with my family, and will be less active in this monthly contest. I'll answer your question soon, though. Wish you the best in the contest.
