About me I have been trying to learn the market since Nov.07. I still have an awful lot to learn, but I have received a lot of help from other players. This is a great place to learn. My husband and I do tree and commercial lawn service, and quite often I spend more time in a hi-lift bucket or climbing in trees than I do on the ground during the day. I don't have much time for hobbies anymore but I love WSS, horseback riding, jet-skiing, softball, card games, chess, and lot's of other activities. I always wanted to try bungy jumping and parachuting at least once. It has been a few years, but I have rode some young and small bulls before, and had so much fun I would do it again if I had the opportunity, even though most think at 53 I am too old to be doing that. When it comes to trading do the opposite of me and you should be fine. LOL

I would try e-bay, my son sells and buys a lot of bike parts and gets pretty good results.
In this economy e-bay is probably a good idea since it's world wide, I will see some people tomorrow and see what they know.
There's always buyers, it's just trying to figure out who they are.

Hi Barb, I would first try to find a machinery broker, or ask your bank who does farm equipment auctions in your area.
Farm equipment is very specialized, your local newspaper may know who handles the sales of used material.
I'll try and see if any of my friends have any knowledge Monday as to how to unload this inventory.
I hope you all had a good Thanksgiving.

    Hi Barbara

thanks for taking my friends request and the compliment for my portfolio made my day maybe even year.

This market is crazy and try to buy fewer stocks and hold for as long as possible , I bought GLD and praying it moves up but bought way to high.

Hope you have a great weekend

Im going to read and write on that new forum with the philosophy that I will not be drawn into name calling, etc. Just like some people read the sport  pages and certain cartoons and pieces of news, whilst others read every little word, the spouting of Mr Ron Paul follower etal will not dissuade me from at least learning to keep a better handle on politics.. and I got that enocuragement from you and your postings. Wherever I see you in the forums or just the Wall, dont forget I'll be there smiling and encouraging you not to lose faith and hope in your dreams. Be well !

Im sorry to hear that those web sites are so outdated and I needed a reality check.  I recall now your postings about the closed businesses... is Ballinger fragile in part because of the oil refinery issues and recovery from the storms or has this been a slow shutdown in your area or other issues?
