Safe Stocks To Buy

In a Bear Market what are safe stocks to buy? Read on to learn which stocks will keep their value.

I have come to a firm conclusion: It is possible to find great stocks out there to buy! Here's why:

Consumer confidence is extremely low, and the VIX (which measures fear and volatility) is very high. This is the perfect recipe for buying cheap stocks. My charts show that the market can't go much lower.

But what are "we" buying? I've had many people from many different backgrounds tell me that they will continue to buy from companies that produce staple items like gasoline, clothing, and heat. Here are some stocks I've looked at that will, no doubt, be worth the money in the long and short term:

These ARE fundamentally solid stocks! I am not saying to buy this list of stocks next week, probably not even the week after. I think the United States has seen the worst of the financial crisis, but I truly feel that until these two Commodities (Precious Metals and Oil) are technically solid.

We are currently experiencing the opposite of the oil crisis that we experienced from May through July of 2008. Oil, instead of skyrocketing, is going through the floor on the fast track to that fiery place in the ground (and I'm not talking about the center of the Earth). Why am I telling you this? Because people are going to look towards things that have an upside that aren't oil related stocks. So that's why I have chosen Fording Coal (FDG) as my choice for a solid energy stock buy.

Apple (AAPL) is only a day-by-day short sale stock. YOU DO NOT WANT TO KEEP TECH STOCKS FOR THE LONG TERM, YET. This isn't safe, for the Tech Volatility Rating is still very, very high.

The Charles Schwab Group (SCHW) is purely for the dividend and for its low risk, high growth rating (in my opinion, SCHW is at a perfect buy level, and I did in fact purchase it and am currently holding 6 shares of it for the long term).

Under Armour (UA) is a phenomenal stock, and I happened to check on it last night. I haven't set a stock price for it, but from a quick glance, the stock price hit a support price from historical charts.

Enjoy the down-turn, do your homework, and buy, buy, buy? The market will thrive!
