About me I'm a native New Yorker, living in Puerto Rico for the past 7 years. I have always been interested in stocks but always found it a bit intimidating. I have hopes this site will help me learn more and add fun and less intimidation to the idea of trading stocks.

ya, it sucks... especially when its real money you're watching. which is why its best to invest in a company that owns a percentage of their own company and to see huge institutional and mutual funds backing it up so daytraders and manipulation is minimal. take csiq for instance a lot of shorts that i know of in real life tried their hand in that stock to only lose lots of money. when daytraders sold their positions long-term investors or institutions would pick up those shares knowing how cheap the company was at the moment. shorts got squeezed and daytraders ended up repositioning themselves at a higher share price because of it. with tiny stocks trading under $10 its easy for people to manipulate the share price as they see fit because its so cheap and all you need is 10 grand at minimum to play. ive tried my luck with it in penny stocks with huge success daytrading and coming up with daily and weekly returns of $4000 minimum and once you do that and see how easily one can manipulate a simple stock, you gain a great deal of knowledge in how to trade and when to believe a stock is going down for sure or if its just being manipulated by the daytraders/MMs

My hardest lesson was always when to hold and when to sell..

I found I sold to soon...holding stocks longer was better...
