Congrats on staying in the Top 100 in a very difficult market.  I've been trying out a couple new short funds that were brought out last month.  Direxion 3x funds offer 300% leverage for the strong-willed investor so maybe there is some $$$ to be made from this train wreck.  Maybe the worst will be over by next summer unless there's another surprise for us (Derivatives meltdown?) Good luck!

Congrats on your recent results!  I'm out of most stocks but the ContraFunds are doing great, especially EEV, SMN, SDP, and SKF.  Should be some great buying opportunities once all the "scared money" is on the sidelines.  This could take place next week --- or next year.  In the meantime, let's make lemonade out of these lemons. I still expect higher prices for energy, food and gold/silver.  However, we may have to wait a little longer for things to turn around.

Ouch!  What happened the last few days?  I've been able to hold my own by shorting oil (DUG) and selling the other contrafunds (SDS/SCC).  Looks like oil will pull back for a while but we don't know if it will be a couple weeks or months.  We should be looking at new highs for energy, food and precious metals by year end. I got a couple cheap gold/silver miners, but we may be a little early in the game.
