Hey Captain Corky - you are still here.  I had my two grand children to watch tonight while their parents went to the Super Bowl.  The baby went home, but I still have the 3 year old.  She loves to sleep in Nonnie's bed.  You guys are so funny!!!  It is cold and windy here, and will probably rain - it always does the week of the big golf tournament.  Still, people from out of town think it is wonderful. Barbara, I am probably older than you, that is why I am more devious!  You both  need to go shopping for yourselves, wrap up the presents, then when you open them, thank your husbands profusely - they will be speechless, and too embarrassed to give you a lawn mower or whatever.  On the other hand, my husband always wants to give me clothes, and believe you me, it's not much better than a lawn mower.  Finally, I got my daughter to talk him out of it, because his taste in women's clothes is highly questionable. Oh, Mardi Gras!! Maybe if I had some wild partying like soileau, I wouldn't mind giving up the good stuff for Lent.  I really do need to start eating sensibly and lose a few pounds - I only have myself to blame.  Corky, perhaps he could get you some steel toed shoes. lol

I see I am all alone, and I'm tired, so I am going to bed, also.  Late night crew, goodnight, sweet dreams, and may the force bring you green.

Hey Rosebud, how's it going with your portfolio, I hope better than me and Corky.

Wouldn't it be fun if we could all tie one on with Soileau, maybe that's what we need to make some good picks. Beer and whiskey doesn't like me, so I don't mess with it- but once or twice a year I like to get the giggles with a good tequilla sunrise, doesn't take much for me and I think everything is funny.

Anyway, I am going big on some short trades, just have to wait and see what happens.

 Hi everyone! I was up so late because I couldn't sleep!!! Came home from work and caught a second wind, however my DSL isn't working. So I watched a movie until hubby went to bed and then I jumped on his computer! I went to bed around 5:30 and was up at 9 AM! I think it's the toothache. It doesn't hurt any more.But I called my dentist to confirm my appt. and found out that they don't take my insurance! So I am off and looking for a dentist. I live in rural country so I may have to travel 90 miles to Madison. I am disgusted!

My portfolio? I am down 2 K as of closing bell. I have 3 longs in the red. I am waiting to see if they will hit green Tuesday. The first chance, I am dumping them.

cold climate is not that bad if you get used to t I live in Saskatchewan Canada  and its -35 tonight and by morning mabe 2 or 3 degrees colder

Hi everyone - it is really fun to know where everyone lives. I know what some of you do for work and fun, but not all.  I am a retired teacher, relatively new grandmother, I paint, play the piano, and try to find meaning in my life, now that I have become a consumer and not a producer.  I was born in Nebr. on a farm, so I can relate to some of your experiences, like driving a tractor. I also had a 4H steer. He was a mean one.  

rosebud - get that tooth fixed!!!!  hope you find a dentist.  I live in the big city, and it is hard to find one that doesn't want to redo my whole mouth for an arm and a leg.

HI, rosebud , my toes are much better , and I will be doing the do wa ditdy dance with both feet in no time , it just won't be near a coffee table . I always get my second wind when its time to go to bed too. I feel so bad for you that you have to go that far for a dentist . I do not like to drive at all , even when it's a sunny day in summer. and I was down 2k today too. and I had stocks in 5 sectors. I am keeping a close eye on goog , it should be done going down soon , might buy it tomorrow and hope that I am not to late . gald I did not buy it today!!!!!

hi phsc111, yes we are , and we are all alot of fun too. I look forward to these posts at night , its nice to chat with some one older then 12 & 13 . how did you do today . my mac is acting funny today , and I know very little about computers , my kids teach me the little I do know , and I can't get on the computer unless they are at school or in bed . they do my space and I dont like that , I am just starting to learn there codes like pos, that means parent over shoulder , they use that one alot .lol I do remember what a angle I was at there age . so I keep a very close eye on them. and I love it when they forget to sign off . so I can read it all , and some of there friends are not very nice . so I try to keep them off of my space as much as I can. and bishop another good question for us late night crew is , do you have kids and if so what are there ages. .
