 Thanks Barb! My toothache is getting better thanks to Ibruprofen. I have an appt. next Tuesday. It is my own fault. I hate going to the dentist, I would rather someone break my leg. The dentist office told me to go to the ER if it gets unbearable. I have not been to the dentist in 3 years, so they can not prescribe anything for pain or antibiotics. The dentist warned me 3 years ago. I'm scared.....  He is going to yell. I have to have all my uppers pulled but never had the insurance. I just got dental insurance last year, but my teeth didn't hurt, wrong move, now I suffer. I work in the medical field so I know the dangers of too much Ibroprofen. It can eat your stomach lining and destroy your liver over time. But this is short term, I hope, so I should be okay. I am taking 800 mg  every 6 hours. But I am hungry and can't chew anything, going to look for the applesauce...lol

I would rather clean a cow lot than go to the dentist myself. Good luck and let us know how it goes.  I know someone who has false teeth and cows and sneezed once and his false teeth flew out and landed in a fresh still steaming cow pattie. YUKK!  I could not keep from laughing though because of the look on his face.

rosebud07 - first of all, you are in much more danger, healthwise, not caring for your teeth, than you are from a few days of ibuprophen.  Even so, I think ibu is less dangerous that tylenol.  Go to a new dentist and tell him you have been on a scientific excursion in Antarctica.  Every 5 years or so I go to a new dentist and act as though I had no idea there was anything wrong with my teeth - so I am guilty, too.
