Breaking news: Since the historic health care vote, outside Republican special interest groups have spent nearly $2.4 million directly attacking Democrats who voted "yes" on health care.

They have made it clear - they will say or do whatever it takes no matter the cost.

This year already, opponents of health care reform led by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce have spent $60 MILLION on attack ads.

Rumor is that Republicans are going to expand their advertising buys for Thanksgiving week when Democrats will be home in their districts.

The Republicans have no plan for fixing America's broken health care system. Their only goal is taking back control of the House next year. With their dishonest attacks.

Well it is easy to see where some Americans stand on integrity and honesty in Congress when you get a good reply to the expansion of dishonest attack ads.

I never paid attention to anyone in Congress until this year.   So there are a lot of Congress members I still know nothing about on both sides of the aisle.

I just know the ones that have been on the Pants on Fire list.

1.5 million average for EACH senator in Congress on the healthcare bill alone, and that was last month no telling what it is this month.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How will we ever have honest representation as long as they are legally allowed to accept huge PAC contributions.

 On the issue of taxing cadillac health insurance plans in order to pay for the health insurance, it was not in the healthcare reform bill passed by the house, and low and behold the house democrats received 93%  of the over 20 million dollars donated by UNIONS  which are one of the biggest sources that carry the cadillac health insurance plans.

You missed the point totally but it doesn't matter. 

I still want the healthcare bill passed,  the alternative of doing nothing is just not acceptable.

The republicans should have done something about it during their 8 years but they didn't so know at least something may be done.

First step make some changes and see what works and what doesn't,  second step is making adjustments. 

the 8 years of repugnikins is nothing to the better part of 30 that the demorats held, but hey it was only 30 years....they just needed to study it a little more to come up with this bill no doubt.

Nah it just took 8 years of repubnikins to get things bad enough that they could get it passed.
