I just redeemed a $5 Amazon gift card today using my loyalty points! This is my third time redeeming such card. The last time I redeemed a gift card, it took WSS approximately 14 weeks to process my request and send the gift card. If the WSS team would try to decrease the processing time, I (and hopefully most of the WSS players) will be grateful of the effort.

 Not sure why it takes so long, it might be on Amazon's side might be on WSS side.

I think it's WSS. They probably just do it every few weeks.

 I think Amazon won't keep its valued customers waiting for their gift cards.

 Yes, 14 weeks or 3.5 months will really keep me waiting and might actually make me forget about waiting...

 if I had to make a guess, I do not believe the delay is due to Amazon. 

It's too bad our government can't bail out WSS; that way, they could disburse the gift certificates more quickly

Whose government? Different countries have different governments. But this one... WSS is destined in only one particular country.

WSS is actually from Canada.---------------------From what i have read the points have to be audited.Like your portfolio after a win has to be audited.THEN your points or wins are issued.There are over 100,000 players on this site .and Amazon card issueing is not #1 priority.Paying the winners is.IMO-----------------------And fixing glitches to my portfolio comes first .IMO.---------------Anyway how big an army you think WSS got.from what I seen there's less than a handful.

how did u gain so many loyalty points? You need 50,000 points just to get a $5 card?

 Do these everyday for 32 days: 10 trades and 5 forum posts, it would only take a month for you to earn $5 Amazon gift card. Refer a friend and wait 10 days less. Refer 3 friends and you can already redeem your $5 Amazon gift card.

Some players wait until they get 100,000 loyalty points before they redeem their card. Others still wait until they get 500,000 loyalty points for $50 Amazon gift card.

 

Don't forget some of us have been around here for years. I had enough to cash in for $80 at once.

 unfortunately, the time between redeeming for the AMZN gift cards and getting them is taking longer and longer. Still waiting for mine from 10/19

 

I got my amazon card back in Aug.i cashed in my points in May and when i tried to use it in the beginning of Dec. it said it was no good.I sent a feedback to WSS and they sent me a link to write to which i did and have had no response for 3 weeks now.See I just chalk it up to all the prizes i aint got ,all the amazon cards that aint no good .i got one prize as a amazon card which was good and that was almost 2 years ago.since then the WSS Prizes and notifications and especially the amazon cards just aint been right.So i just discount anything i'm supposed to get from WSS as not real. and that includes not getting any responses from WSS when filling out their feedback form.and with WSS I wont waste my time to hound them until they make it right.I have a philosophy i follow that if it dont work dont force it.after an attempt or 2 to make something happen and it dont work out i drop it,EXCEPT when it comes to costing me money.Thats why I've had this attitude about WSS's Amazon cards cause most aint been right.and they aint made them right let alone respond .

Ghost, I've been wondering about customer service on here. Are they hurting due to the economy? It seems like people have been complaining a lot more than in the past. And to top it off, WSS Survivor isn't posting on the forums anymore...

J828 I think you meant WSS Admin.I checked their profile they havent logged on for at least this month so I'd say they're no longer in the game.As far as getting a reply from WSS by using their feedback form(contact us) has been almost nonexistant to me.
