As long as these teams stay healthy, like the stock market, their rise to the playoffs will be good.

A healthy McNabb and Westbrook will help the Eagles.  A healthy Barber and Roy Williams will help the Cowboys.  A healthy Eli and Brandon Jacobs will help the Giants.  Washington needs a healthy Santana Moss and any one of their QBs.

stanhansen, of course health is always the issue. I get so tired of everyone talking about it because it is such an obvious issue. Every show, every team ......... "if they stay healthy?"

Yes indeed.  Santana Moss is so inconsistent.  I remember this one game last season he had over 100 yards receiving with one or 2 TDs and returned punts so nicely along with one TD.  He got me 29 pts tht one game and gave me 5 or 6 in his nxt effort.

lol o yea.  I could not believe my eyes when I saw the pts lol as I'm not very good with math.

    R. Williams just burned the Bucs' D very well.  It was too burnt for my taste :(

Cowboys looked a little shaky to start it today, but pulled it together for a nice win. 1 down, 15 to go.

Don't like the "girls." Don't like Romo, but he played yesterday.

Yea Romo was horrible in the 1st quarter, but in the end they got the W and he played well down the stretch.

    Re: Cowboy's

The only thing that Santana Moss did that was memorable in week one was the "fight" he had where he was thrown down in the endzone.  He is so inconsistent that if you don't play him, he'll do well.  If you play him, he'll suck and hurt your team.  I had him last season as well and feel that frustration.

Roy Williams had a good first game, but let's see what happens in the next game.  Just like Santana Moss' first game last season where he was awesome, he was just inconsistent throughout the season.  Roy Williams is a hit or miss.  Too bad not a hit consistently.

It is unfortunate someone here on WSS was suffering the same fate as mine last season lmao.

Yea, R. WIlliams is on a mission though.  He's trying to justify his contract and the fact that whether or not he's a bona fide #1 WR in this league.  He has worked hard during the off season for like the 1st time.

    Re: Cowboy's

This is definitely a make or break season for Roy Williams.  If he and Patrick Clayton can co-exist, which I'm sure they can, the Cowboys and Romo will be fine.  They just have to think Marvon Harrison and Reggie Wayne, or Issac Bruce and Torry Holt to name a few.

Let's see what happens in week 2.

Good luck everyone in your fantasy pool in week 2.

I think R. Williams has always been a #1 or #2 WR, but I'm not so sure about Crayton.  He's kinda the X-factor.

Yea, I did ok last week in fantasy football.

Don't forget about Miles Austin, he is a wildcard the Cowboys pull often and well.

    Re: Cowboy's

Fred Jones and Marion Barber will be the other keys.  Fred Jones will put Dallas in great position with his yardage from kick-off returns and his ability to run with the ball.  And Marion Barber if healthy will run with the ball and receive if necessary.

So Dallas is full of offense (and let's forget the kicker Nick Folk who has been one of the consistent kickers for Dallas not named Mike Vanderjagt).  Let's hope that their defense will provide protection for Romo.

Let's see how they fare against the Giants in week 2.  Should be a good matchup.

this was a very entertaining game, even if the Giants did pull it out in the end by 2 points.

wow, I heard on ESPN that there were 100,000+ people in the stadium??? if so, I guess people in Texas and fans of Cowboys are ignoring the recession, layoffs, reduction in pay, etc, eh?

Eli looked real sharp in this win.

    Re: Cowboy's

Eli's #s may not look as good as Rivers' in Week 2, but he was efficient and kept his cool and got his team a big W.

I found it interesting that the Ravens beat the Cowboys with 33 pts at the last game in Cowboys' Stadium, and the Giants beat the Boys with 33 pts AGAIN in the new stadium's opener.

Romo's mistakes keep piling on.  Jones's fumble was just bad.  No one touched him.  Where is DeMarcus Ware?!  Have not seen that guy making impact plays.

    Re: Cowboy's

That was a tough loss by Dallas.  I wish T.O. was there to cry when people are blaming Romo for the loss.  Still early in the season, but the Cowboys defense better learn to come up big when they need it.  They held the Giant's running backs to 12 yards in the first half, but then had a hard time to stop the Giant's receivers in the second half.

Eli is proving that he can lead his team to victory when he needs too.  And it helps when he has dependable receivers.

The ball that bounced off Witten's foot was just bad luck.  But funny to watch.

Which looked worse? Dal or GB?

    Re: Cowboy's

Good call.  Both defenses were pretty bad, and I couldn't believe how Aaron Rodgers was sacked 6 times.  Definitely we are not seeing the Rodgers of the pre-season when he was playing like Drew Brees.

Also how about the Colts winning the game when they only had about 14 minutes of ball possession.
