    Cowboy's

They lost their first game last night. I'm not sure I want to pay $100+ for a night out to see them lose.

It's only the first game. That doesn't mean that their season will go down the drain.

I don't sweat the preseason. Romo didn't play the whole game and a lot of guys saw ball time. These games are to seperate the men from the boys.

The whole team the Cowboys are a bunch of boys to me, no pun nor offense intended.  This team just alcks the fire and discipline to win it all.

The Cowboys should be fine.  Without T.O. and his drama, it'll now be Marion Barber's team to beat.  Barber should now be the main focus ala LT, Adrien Peterson, Westbrook etc...

Always a threat to run with the ball and for receiving.

Romo should also be fine without T.O. and Jessica Simpson.

Preseason is just preseason, just like the regular season is the regular season, and the playoffs is the playoffs.  Anything can happen.

Barber is a good back, and Felix will be back strong.  He showed tremendous big play ability b4 he got hurt.  I have doubt in Williams. Is he a legit #1 WR?  Idk, but I do know he's a good #2.

Cowboys looked pretty good tonight vs Titans. Few mistakes, confident, and no turnovers. Bonus: A big win to boot!!!

I agree with Windbreaker - don't sweat the preseason.

My Niners, in the good ol' days of the 1980s and 1990s, routinely had losing preseason records --- Bill Walsh and George Seifort used the preseason to test the unknowns and rookies.

Rice/Montana/Lott/Young/Craig, etc (all the stars) didn't play too much, if at all - the first possession of the game and that was it.

I agree that Roy Williams is not the #1 receiver, but on the Cowboys, who really is.

Hopefully this will be Roy's year to finally show what he can do.  Isn't that guy Carlos Rogers still looking for a job in the NFL?

I thought he was supposed to be the next big thing aside from Ryan Leaf.

The 'Boys looked pretty good against the Titans.  Can they keep it up into the season?  Only time will tell.

My Niners beat the Cowboys this past weekend.

lol - that's the last time I'll be able to say that my Niners beat anybody.

Once the regular season starts, I expect us to fold

we're 4-0 in the preseason....but Detroit last year was un-defeated in the preseason as well.

look what happened to Detroit one the regular season started.

    lol

Yeah I am already getting bored with the preseason, let's get the real thing going already. Yes, I am ready for some football.

Do you guys think they'll make playoffs? If so, what position?

Way too many variables to even consider the post-season, not only with the Cowboys but other division teams as well. It is one game at a time.

I think the NFC East is no longer the division to beat.  NFC North has improved dramatically with the arrival of Cutler and Favre.

If you take pre season seriously, it looks like a very tough division.

Very good comeback by the Cowboys against the Vikes last night.  Now time will tell if the Cowboys can put it together without distractions and make the playoffs.

Jon Kitna, wow, that guy is still playing.

What a shoot out that was between the Vikes and 'em boys.  Yea Kitna looked ok to good.

No, I think the NFL East still stronger. Giants and Eagles 1 and 2 though. Dal will have to be a wild card to get in. IMHO. Wash is the mystery there.

But the NFC north will be more fun to watch. At least for me.
