huh - I didnt know the market was closed tomorrow

No I didnt, I dont remember of the market being closed on July 3rd ever before. In all my years I dont remember the stock market having so many days off. Shoot I didnt want to hold an option over the weekend.

For some reason I was thinking Monday was the holiday, not Friday.

If the holiday is on saturday generally everyone takes off on Friday.if the holiday is on sunday everyone generally takes off monday.

Just a strange day really. We had city trash pickup and we got mail delivery. No stock market though. Stock market closed, maybe better.

The Saturday=Friday Sunday=Monday rule has been around for awhile.
