based on what?

I don't see intel burning up any charts, they lost market share to AMD, and there were always new pricing issues it seemed like.  I just don't see them as much of a growth stock anymore.

 My current favored tech stock is ARBA, which I have in my real money portfolio.Unfortunately, my funds in this contest were limited and therefore I missed the chance on some great gains here.

arba would have been a nice purchase if you bought it at the beginning of the tourney and held on to it....good call luego.!!!

given the recession that we are in (which the government will not acknowledge), and a lot of people losing houses, and the ones with homes that have lost 20%+ value ..and businesses that are not making as much money as they used to, who's buying the computers with INTC chips and/or any other INTC-related products?

 heck, even the financial sectors are barely keeping afloat, thanks to the constant manipulations of numbers

INTC is good under 18s, and even better around 12s 

well based on the fact that they make chips for more computers than anybody but their not my fav either I like AAPL short term and long term and GOOG(Kinda tech) or ENS but MSFT is the big dog and that prob won't change anytime soon

MSFT is the big dog yes, but you can't really compare them to INTC.  They are kind of complementary to one another if you think about it.

I think that for the time being, with MSFT mired in the Yahoo mess, they'll continue drifting ever so slowly downward.

 Would like to get some MSFT, but I'll bide my time and wait, hopefully under $25

I didn't know about ARBA, but I'll make a point of checking them out now. You have to know the strange stocks to win! 

yeah i'm kinda gun shy of smaller tech companies tend to be all speculation I'll take dips in MSFT and AAPL all yr long they aren't going anywhere over time but up

define hot i never said hot it's got good growth and is making a product that is bought I see them going up but taking hits just like every stock in the market.   You want HOT try AAPL soon they are releaseing a new phone soon so INTC good but and AAPL hot

has anyone ever heard of this little canadian company out of guelph ontario ,you know the one it,s doubled its size every quarter for the last 4 ,it just won a court case in california ( i think ) and just told a country   NO  maybe you have heard of it     RIMM    ;)))
