Lol, I do put my real money into my "paper money". I'm a firm believer in "put your money where your mouth is". But I'm not broke yet.

FSLR has eased back a little thus far this week, but not so much that I'm in the green on my short yet. I'm considering cutting the loss, though.

Ya last week was my call on shorting this sector. I unfortunately missed out on my on input due to some bad judgment in another conversation. But, despite being locked in at a somewhat non-glorious place I remain bullish just as some of the above posters. The fact is, I called the shorts a week ago, not this week. The bottom of STP should be around 10.55. Once it hits 11ish I'd be happily getting back in after a good portion of profits on the short side. With a 1/2 position at 11ish I would pick up another 1/2 position at about 12.7 or 12.8 knowing that anything over that will breakout and push 14s by Feb. Just speculation. But I'm trying to test myself so take it for what its worth. 1-20-09 will be a kind of catylist imho. We'll see if I'm right. So far my friends are telling me that if I'd put money into my "paper money" hobby I'd be broke...I disagree, but over the somewhat longer horizon than 2 or 3 days. I also think this Friday is going to see some interesting price action. Can't wait! Guess I've gone from trader to "investor" this month : /

sslr is what I have been doing this week. First solar was up 23 bucks on friday. So today I only made 42 bucks but it is better than nothing. Happy trades.Toni
