    Election

What does everyone think the chances are of having Hillary and Barack on one ticket as president and vice president in November?

I THINK IT'S A STRONG CHANCE IF HILLARY IS THE NOMINEE. I THINK IT'S NO CHANCE IF BARRACK GETS THE NOD.

I have been trying to look back in history, has there ever been a time in recent history where one canidate became the VP choice of the eventual person who ran for the presidency. I dont remember one.

Montana, Here is a few I can remember:

    Nixon - Ford

    Kennedy - Johnson

    Carter - Mondale

The presidential nominee always looks for a running mate that will help him win the electorial vote, as well as being a good candidate for VP.

I think she would never do that, because she would have to admit that he has some useful qualities, and she would have to do a good bit of back-pedaling.  I don't think Obama would pick her because he clearly does not want to interact with her.  On the other side of that, Hillary would put him in the background, which might hurt his future chances.  If Obama were to pick her, I am sure she would refuse.  She is an all or nothing lady.  But who knows?  Anything is possible, I guess.  I think that kind of combination is more likely with John McCain and Huckabee.

    For what its worth i believe the ticket will read;

    OBAMA/GORE

Think about it. The Global Warming Crisis. Will be the number 1 threat to us all in a decade at the most.

And Gore can also lend his experience, having been there before, to our new leader of the country.

Seti - That would be some surprise.  Half of the people love Gore, and half think he is a kooky guy.

GORE looks like he might explode any day. We need to avoid that at all costs. That one act may DOUBLE global warming

I don't think Obama would want to be VP because he would probably wait to run again as president in the next election, same thing for Clinton....running as VP reads like: I'm the number two canditate but I can't run the country....

I agree, karand.  Maybe Gore will join our weight loss group?

lol, how quick you change your tune! I thought you wanted Barbara for President????

Any way, I think McCain should pick Huckabee or Colon Powell as a VP. But if by chance, Huckabee gets the nomination, I wonder who he would take as a running mate?

I forgot to mention that Gore would not even consider being VP. He is in the public eye with his green campaign. He has done many talk shows and said he does not have any interest in politics anymore.

Not a chance! They both want #1 or nothing! I think it might be a good thing though if it could happen.

I don't think we are going to see a Clinton/Obama ticket. They are both too "special" to share the lime light.

Surely you were jesting when you said both of them are too "special". You mean in their own minds right.
