Re: hey it's the late night crew

thanks goldiec....i have to go the lab on monday ....unfortunately my husband had to go right to work after my doctors appt. yesterday and the lab was only open 1/2 day...i have to have more blood work done and a ....ready for it ...stool sample...some how when it's for my dog i don't have a problem...but when it's my own i can't handle it...especially since one of the jars has to be refrigerated after the sample is taken...

did i mention i have O.C.D.? obsessive compulsive dissorder?

i actually remove the furniture from the room to vacuum...i don't just vacuum under the four club chairs...i move them into the spare bedroom and they just barely fit through the door....I have to put my hands on the bottom and tops of them....then i remove everything except the couch...which of course, i vacuum around, then move....and put back....

so this test going in the refrigerator is nightmare to me....

my hands are so rough from being washed so many times...it doesn't matter how much lotion i put on....it doesn;t replace the natural oils that are being washed from the constant hand washing....

Karand, I couldn't believe it when I read what you wrote.  I have O.C.D. too!  I've had it my entire life.  I cannot have any type of rubbish in the house.  Nothing!  I've driven my family crazy forever.  If there's a tiny bit of rubbish I have to take it outside to the rubbish can.  It's crazy I know but that's the way it is with me.  When the rubbish gets picked up I have to even scrub the can out if you can believe that.  I can't stand the thought of germs.  I can't go to sleep at night with a dirty dish in the house.

Are you still feeling bad Karand,   I am with Goldiec on this one, I hate to think of you going on a trip by yourself when you are feeling ill.

My wall doesn't work either, I don't think any wallls are working, maybe they are reworking them because of the problems people have been having gettting messages, accepting new buddies, etc.

To see what is on someone's wall, log out and go to their wall.

If you want to post to their wall click on "Log on to Post", log in, go back two pages and click refresh.

I just posted to Barb's wall that way.

Of course, now that I'm logged in I can't get back to any wall.

HI , Everyone , Guess what ? I have O. C. D too . But only with doing dishes and washing clothes . You should see our water bill . I have to do the dishes late at night so everyone will have hot water when they take their showers . Then I put them in the dish washer too . I do wish I was not like that , but I can't help it . I have to go read the posts and I will be back later .

OH , I forgot to tell you , Remember the the girl friend of my daughter that I could not stand over a year ago . I just found out yesterday that she is two months pregnant and her mother dose not know . she is 13 and over a year ago I told her mother to get her on the pill and I did not want her any where near my daughter . The father moved to Texas A month ago and wants nothing to do with her and dose not know either . I do not want to be the one to tell her mother . She told a a few of her friends and they told a friend of my daughter . Her mother really should know about this as soon as possible , so I an thinking about calling the school and talking to the school social worker tomorrow . Do you think that is a good ideal or not ? Maybe I should just stay out of this all together .

If it was me I would not get mixed up in it again.   From what I saw neither the girl or the mom were interested in doing anything different than what they are doing.     If the girl was younger intervention might have been a good thing, but she might just cause trouble for you again now.

I am a bit of a neatfreak in ways but not OCD,  I leave that to my hubby. LOL

He has a certain place for everything at all times,  writing facing out and alignment is a must,  if he decides something should go on the left side of the fridge on a certain shelve then he can't tolerate ever seeing the item anywhere else.  He is that way about everything,  his favorite words are it has to be square with the world not crooked.

Karand he would love the way you vacuum as long as he wasn't there when the couch and chairs were not where they belonged, I move things to clean under also, but not everytime.

Corky, if I were you I wouldn't get involved.  I'd just pray for the family.  This is a no win situation for you.

Barb, Thank goodness I'm not alone in the world with this!  I do think it's better to be too clean and neat than not to be.  What do you think?

    GOLDIEC:

I tried to view what was on my wall twice already and I can't get in.  I wonder what's going on?  Some sort of glitch I guess!Confused Confused

I had problems accessing my wall yesterday too and thought it was the WSS Website. I sent out an email blast to some of you but I didn't get any reply. After another failed attempt earlier, I finally got through by going to the homepage.  I haven't tried viewing my wall yet, maybe later.

OMG...barb~ your husband sounds like me!!!...i never met anyone who was like that before...

when my children were little i use to have there toys organized in tupperware tubs....the little metal cars went in the tubs marked "metal cars"...the little plastic cars went in the tubs marked "plastic cars"....then there were the tubs for the little "toy people" ....tubs for the little "road signs"....you name it...i had it catagorized, marked and organized....every week i washed the toys in a bleach and water mixture....

when my neighbor mentioned how neat my kids rooms were...and how did i do it?....i never really thought about it...until then i thought everybody kept their kids toys like that...

LOL Karand , Everyone use to make fun of me because when my kids were little I use to put their toys in the sink and boil a large pot of water and pour it over them . The toys that were to big like their riding cars I would put in the tub and run very hot water on them . I thought I was the only one that did stuff like that . It is good to know now that I was not the only mother that did this .

Re: hey it's the late night crew

I am with ya'll on this, I do think it is better to be clean and neat,  that is why I don't get frustrated with hubby for being so much more obsessive about it than I am.

I like things clean and neat also, I can just tolerate something out of place temporarily due to convenience and he can't.

But I prefer that to the opposite that is for sure.

PP,  I can't get to my wall at all today, I just get an error message, tried everything DR Z suggested and it did work last night, but not today.  Today, it just froze up my computer and I had to restart.

I sure hope WSS gets the problem resolved soon.
