You all are foolish to think that the federal government is capable of doing anything but ruin the economy.  They, and the Federal Reserve have destroyed the economy with our fiat monetary system.  Stimulus money is derived either from that which has been directly stolen from our paychecks or through the debasement of the dollar.  How can taking money from one person and giving it to another do anyone any good but the one's who are on the receiving end?  I mean really folks; I know I can invest my money much more soundly than some egomaniacal politician at Disneyland on the Potomac, and I sure as heck know how to spend it better.  Is any politician really fiscally responsible when they approve a budget in the trillions, and then over spending that budget by the billions?  Wake up my friends … our politicians have marched us into serfdom, and soon it will be poverty for all but the mighty rich and well connected.  The government doesn’t work, and we need to start over again.  Join the Ron Paul Revolution, and lets take back control of this disaster.

If we can rein in some of the rampant spending, we can get it better under control. I think we all know who is the only candidate in the race that will do that.

I wish I believed that it makes a difference who gets into the White House..even a candidate with the best intentions could get in only to find his/her hands tied....the self-serving actions of the powers that be for the last number of terms have driven us to the place we are now. They have all set themselves up at our expense. Funny, I do feel sorry for Bernanke.....he is an academician who inherited a quaqmire of a mess. And he will probably be out just as he is getting a handle on the situation...
