Agreed. Cheaper DVD's might make me buy them instead of rent them. New ones at $15-$20, rent for $1 a night, or use on a Netflix account...

I agree, if we can get dvds cheaper, then we can all benefit and save money.

Wal-Mart has some cheap tv boxed sets, but those are the older ones.  It would be nice to not have to wait until the price drops before buying dvds or boxed sets.  Usually that takes months to a year or on a special occasion before the price drops.

What about Blu-ray war, I would like to buy blu-rays for $10-15 for new releases

 now that Sony PS3 has a deal with Netflix to stream their movies that are available, I plan on buying the PS3 sometime during the holiday shopping season, hoping for a nice discount on Black Friday.

I have heard mostly that blu-ray are on the out.  Most are going to HD.

I wish we could just use one and get it over with, instead of guessing.

 Actually Blu-ray is the next technology while HD-DVD are out
