Dear Talented WSS posters and members of WSS,

    A Poetry Challenge:

How good are you at making up rhymes?

Just post one here, should you have the time.

I hope you can also keep in mind a few things,

They're called 'Rules', so listen to me sing:

First of all, the poetry must be your own.

No copy and pasting from someone else's throne.

It must make sense, and be propper in grammer,

From realistic issues all the way to Thor's Hammer.

Now also you should keep well aware,

Your poem should be clean, so don't swear!

A rhyme is also been known to activate,

A great way for us to communicate!

At the end of this poem you shall find the start of this show,

Just come up with an answer, and let your self go!

We all have the tallent to talk to one another,

Don't let your's just sit there and silently smother!

So Make your post rhyme, but reply to the previous.

Nothing bad or grotesque, or even mischievous,

Oh, and don't forget your post must also be good

For the next poster to reply, if they would.

It don't have to be long, don't have to be fancy,

Don't have to be frilly, it don't have to be lacy.

Just spread your tallent here and let's communicate,

Oh, and please don't rhyme as a way to retaliate!

Now there, next poster, the questions I pose unto you,

"What is your name here, and how do you do?"

"Does your portfolio blast off into space?"

"Or does it dig deep into the lower place?"

Re: Dear Talented WSS posters and members of WSS,

    My name is my own,

I seem to be at times to well known.

    My portfolio could be better,

if I did not spend so much time posting a letter.

So if you have a surefire stock pick,

let me know and that might do the trick.

So what would you pick for a long,

that would make my portfolio sing like a song ?

Re: Dear Talented WSS posters and members of WSS,

ETR may make a run for one eleven

If it does you'll be in heaven

JEC is a hold for sixty

Surely that would be financially nifty

Re: Dear Talented WSS posters and members of WSS,

    This market really stinks

It'll take a few strong drinks

    Enough to ease the pain

    'Til we see another gain.

Re: Dear Talented WSS posters and members of WSS,

the stocks are in a box

    gain is about to rain

if only you'll be patient and feel the pain!

    You can keep the pain

    I would prefer a gain

So this week just for kicks

    I'm changing all my picks.

Re: Dear Talented WSS posters and members of WSS,

I can see new picks for KELLYBROWN

With profits to purchase a new gold crown

No rain in store for mjadad

Nothing but gain is to be had

Nanakeser Thursday had a HUGE loss

She will need to consult with a wise albatross

BJ asks for the magic pick

But she knows the answers won't come quick

So al am I being clear

We are all a talkin' in here so near

      This is fun !

I will give it another run.

      Thanks for the great pick,

it just might do the trick.

I don't like my portfolio going down,

it sure does make me frown.

What do you think Kellybrown ?

Can we win in this game, and paint the town ?

Re: Dear Talented WSS posters and members of WSS,

I just don't know Barbara dear,

Sometimes the future is not so clear.

But one thing I do know for sure,

This is a market that we must endure.

So I struggle from day to day,

Working the picks on which to play.

Hoping that this time I will get lucky,

And that my porfolio will not be sucky.

(Oops, can I say a word like sucky on here?

Sometimes the rules are not so clear.

If I err'd please let me know

And I will fix it with a poem below.)

Re: Dear Talented WSS posters and members of WSS,

    The future is November

Let me see what I remember...

There is a stock, I believe it ABV

Take a gander, it looks good to me.

But woe to me for I have not the cash flow

To buy and sell within my portfolio.

And now I say to the BrownKelly

"Sucky" had me laughing, down to my belly.

Re: Dear Talented WSS posters and members of WSS,

A belly laugh is good on days like today

When your mid-day gains suddenly slip away.

When the Dow Jones is up, but the Nasdaq is down

You pick the wrong one and you look like a clown.

So you continue to try, and to try and to try

Just always remember, you must diversify.

Re: Dear Talented WSS posters and members of WSS,

There is a lot to be said about Diversification,
I hold in my heart for it pure admiration.
Others here as well can even add clarification
(And most likely will in a future conversation!)

Picking the wrong ones is my consternation,
The market truly shows no cooperation!
Faith in my picks has shown huge deceleration,
I wonder when I'll get proper cultivation?

I apologize for this poem's elongation,
My mind just had a slight embarkation.
So before my exit of pure fascination,
Tell me, next poster, what's your fixation?

Re: Dear Talented WSS posters and members of WSS,

    I don't know if I can rhyme,

    So I'm wearing a frown.

    Now i'm spending my time

    Watching my stocks go down.

Re: Dear Talented WSS posters and members of WSS,

Am I being foolish in following Dr. Zira

Will Alden forgive me for not being clearer

Why in heaven's name did I think I could compose a rhyme

I really should be sprinkling my succulent roaster with thyme

Then put the well-seasoned bird in oven to roast

To celebrate my rhyming attempt with a toast

And finally end my poem without a boast

On my way I will coast

Re: Dear Talented WSS posters and members of WSS,

Smelling Purples roasting bird now hungry I am

A honey swathed and cloved studded pan with ham

Into the kitchen quick and into the oven

For me for me nay not for the coven

But wait De please stay your hand

More hunger this morn in our land

Not for me none this day for me

But to the shelter and give it out free

I feel the spirit I feel the move

This Thanksgiving I now know where I'll groove

Re: Dear Talented WSS posters and members of WSS,

Nana you have a heart of gold
(Of this I am sure you were told!)
I shall also be making my move,
Every year to the shelter I groove!

Purple one, Purple one, give yourself credit!
You did just as well as a regular pandit!
I do have some time to join your toast,
And celebrate with you, your wonderful post!

Now Dr Z, it is so sad to hear
That your stocks look bad, oh dear!
    But turn that frown upside-down,
For your poem deserves a crown!

Now the rest of you out there in WWS land,
You see how easy it is to make poems so grand!
So come on in, have a seat, put your fingers to work,
Don't be afraid, don't worry, and most of all don't shirk!

    Misguided Monkey
    part 1

    "It's up, it's up," I said with a grin.
My wife leaned in closer and whispered, "Again?"

"Yes dear, the markets.  A new high for the year,
It's time that we celebrate.   Break out the good beer."

"I clean and I cook all day with no mention,
Instead it's the stocks that steal your attention."

    "We'll hire a cleaner, we'll hire a cook,
This is exciting, just please take a look."

"I change dirty diapers, I tend to the lawn.
From morning 'til evening, then dusk until dawn."

"We'll hire a nanny, and one to mow grass.
Have faith in me honey, your worries shall pass."

"I trust you my darling, I believe what you said.
Now turn off that TV and let's go to bed."

"Can't now sugar, look it's Jim Cramer."
She started to cry, I guess I don't blame her.
