it seems strange to go to the politics thread and see the same posts there day after day. Looks like the new liberal utopia is the failure it deserves to be.

actually, if I want to see your leftist views on everything, I could just go to barbarajonesdotcom. but that site would be a failure too, as few can stomach the "its bushs fault and we need to work together" bs for more than a little bit...look at the libs that took on your hated rush, where are their shows now? This is not a socialist country, and never will be! and if your idols in dc pass their healthscare, they will pay for it next November

Iceman, this site is not intended to be dominated by liberals, conservatives or whatever else people call themselves or others.  It is intended to be an exchange of ideas and information from people of all backgrounds and beliefs.  The fact that it is no longer dominated by a couple people with extreme anti-liberal views does not transform it into a liberal site.  You are free to continue posting your views on politics just like everyone else.  The hope now is that people will treat each other with respect - something that was lacking in the past.

Of what value was the previous traffic to WSS and its advertisers?  There were a very small number of people posting their daily tirades about how awful liberals are and how the world is coming to an end and it's all Obama's fault.  And there were a very small number of people defending the leaders of this country and/or their own personal viewpoints.  Everyone else avoided the political forum because of all the fighting.  ----------------  WSS allowed this behavior for the benefit of very few people, including those complaining here.  But it came at the expense of all the potential participants.  Why continue to cater to such a small audience when there is so much potential?  What would the advertisers prefer?  A small number of opinionated people who never visit their advertised sites?  I think not.---------------------- Keep up the great work Barbara.  It will greatly benefit WSS in the long run.

iceman, truth be known Air America Radio filed chap. 11 in 2006. Bought and changed name to Air America Media, which is producing a 1.+ share in the ratings. Not very strong.

Fox news network dominates other cable news networks.

Shows what interests people.

pro wrestling - it looks like wrestling, uses the same moves as real wrestling, they sweat for real like wrestling, they even claim to be really wrestling. but in fact, they are not wrestling at all. its just a show, a carefully choreographed production, designed to deceive the viewer into thinking that he/she is indeed actually watching real wrestling. it is an absolutely brilliant analogy for fox news. it looks like news, smells like news, they talk for real like news, they even claim to be news. but in fact, it isnt news at all, but a carefully choreographed production designed to deceive the viewer into thinking they are indeed watching real news. brilliant kelly, simply brilliant.
