Wakerider,The nba already has a token White Man on every one of their teams,last time I watched it a few years ago they did anyway.What's the point of being a token.That game's more boring than the nfl is now.

If someone put together an all White nba or nfl team they'd probably be protested. Never mind that there are all black teams now.

   The best way to deal with precocious posts by children is to not egg them on by responding to them.   Our goal here is to have a friendly community where everyone can enjoy posting regardless of how different their ideals may be. 

However name-calling and insults are not allowed, and warnings have been issued to perpetraters.  Hopefully everyone will cooperate from here on out and work together to not encourage unpleasantness by responding to it and egging it on, and by not replying in like kind.

 It takes everyone working together,  and please keep in mind,  the best way to avoid continued discord is for adults not to respond to precocious statements designed to stir things up.

I'd like to second this statement and ask why it is that blatant racism is seen as less of a "disturbance" to the forums than name calling.

i name call those folks who have said things so ignorant or bigotted that they warrant no respect from me. lie, no. I've not ever lied on this site, i've got no reason to. some of my sarcasm may have been misinterpreted, however even if misinterpreted, it wouldnt be relevant to the point.

that said, regardless of what you reply, it bears no legitimacy with me or likely anyone else reading these threads. all they have to do is read your posts and they'll know who is and isnt sane.

I live in SC. of course I have no one to talk to about politics, as I've said before. I do on occasion discuss the absurd things people on this site say with friends, but it is my belief that politics and religion should never be discussed amongst friends. so I use this site as my outlet. do I care if anyone is listening, no. do I need attention, no. do I need a place to vent my political ideology and or frustrations, yes. as for you, I think you've got some serious issues that you need to sort out (personally) before you try psychoanalyzing anyone lol.
