don't forget if you have a problem on the site your best bet for a solution is to send an email to

         Support@wallstreetsurvivor.com

I wish this were true Karand. Perhaps Barbara Jones can act as a liason to these system wide issues.  These questions are NOT being answered,

Is Barbara Jones paid to help monitor the forums? Just curious as I didn't realize certain members had become higher up =)

The Bullseye Contest does not carry over the non-winning days as it is supposed to on many occasions. Contacted support a while back but they never corrected it. Just told me to contact them if I won to make sure I received the correct amount. Shouldn't have to do all that when support could have the web-site fixed to show the correct amount each day, including carry-overs.

    Hey Guys,

Just went through this forum and it seems that users are facing a plethora of issues.

First things first - users are complaining that they can't get through support. Are you not able to send completely? Are you getting the an error message? If so, please post the message exactly. Or are you not receiving any response back from support?

If it's the latter, we apologize for that but we are currently experiencing heavy volume on all our websites and we are doing out best to get everything fixed. If you sent an inquiry, it normally should be answered within 48 hours, but at the moment, like mentioned above we are at a peak time, and your patience would be greatly appreciated.

With the launch of the new website, we are currently facing some compatibility issues with IE8 I believe. I would strongly recommend for everyone to use FireFox or even try Google Chrome's new browser - both of which are free browsers, and in my opinion they are both superior to IE in every shape, way or form :0

Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and if you are facing problems regarding this website we would appreciate it if we get as much details as possible.

    Have a good day!

Thank you for responding ...however these problems go back several weeks...so, 48 hr response time is a nice target but it looks like there might be a bigger problem at play...

Thank you WSS admin,  I know if we are patient enough and send enough detailed information for you to work with when we have glitch problems that they will be worked out as soon as it possible.

I think the free browser info will be helpful to many who are having problems.  I know that some problems I had in the past were due to my old computer and not this site,  because since it crashed and I bought a new one with windows vista I have not experienced any of those problems.

I hope you can email support now,  If you can't just post it on here and maybe technical will be able to get this problem corrected.

They said they were having compatability problems with IE8 that they are working on and that might be at the root of the problem.

In light of this post, I have to ask:

You mention "heavy volume on all our websites". Does this mean there is only one crew working ALL the sites, or is there seperate crews for each website? The later would seem more efective to me, and reduce the "complaints" a little, as well as increase productivity.

I'm not trying to be rude at all, nor am I trying to tell you folks how to do your jobs, I am merely thinking maybe the crew that is working them all might be spread a bit thin? The saying "The more the merrier" (refering of course to more crews) tends to apply here, considering this one site has suffered just a bit.

    Just my 2 cents...

the buying power is incorrect and inconsistent when you try trading.in comparison to the account balances, the open positions and then trading you see 3 different amounts.this started about a month before the end of the last version.

    Re: Glitches

Buying power is still screwy for me.in the open positions i had 5K buying power ,went to trade stocks I first showed 15K buying power then after a couple of trades it showed i had 400K and after several trades I showed 210K but couldnt trade as it was giving a message I only had (17K) buying power.-----------------I just discount the buying power in my portfolios to be wrong.---------------------------was also checking the lifetime rankings out and someone with 0.09% was way above me and my 364% profit .I think the WSS program has an accounting error in it.

    Re: Glitches

When option symbols changed I seem to be holding some options that are considered to be worthless by WSS and I have contacted WSS to correct this.------------------They did have value before the conversion.---------------Will post back IF wss ever responds and/or corrects this.

    Re: Glitches

WSS did respond and fix the options that were showing 0 value.---------------------------------Now everytime i click on a player's name I get a runtime error.

    Re: Glitches are back

again i got options showing 0 value.AND everyone wishes they could see the daily change .as so do i .The WSS servers must only be able to do so much as players rankings arent showing correctly. and every now and then I still got problems with buying power.so it seems the accounting program is flawed.---------- I'd guess this websites been outsourced to someone who only sees $signs and not any need to respond to any one for any reason.
