You can only invest 50% of your portfolio on a specific stock. It is a WSS rule, so that people diversify a bit more.

     I thought it was 20% not 50%.

    inconsistent Buying power

Lately i keep having the buying power show one amount and then when I've only a portion of it and not anything on margin such as in options when i go back to the open positions or dashboard it shows then that i have a negative buying power.really inconsistent.

Ditto. Ranking, buying power, Top lists, margin, they are not the same from screen to screen. Yes I realize the numbers are dynamic but why not equal? Is it the indexes are not calculating in the same time frame?

And when you know you just sold and there should be cleared cash, well....  I think these blanket inconsistencies should be dealt with by Support reading the Forums and responding to every one. Instead of, you submit the error, then when you do hear it's well send us a picture of the actual trade... well ... Ive long past 'gone on' with my own fix by the time Supprt has time to respond to me. If I dont have cash when I need to trade, I usually find another way. But ... should I have inconsistent negatve cash for that 20 minutes?? Nooooooooooooooooo

I think the more bugs we identify before the revision, the more possibilities for improvement this site can offer us. Namaste

    Re: Buying power

Well, now my options expired (i was selling mostly), so i earned money. But my buying power is7000 USD. How is that possible? I have already checked my order history and there was not open orders. Is this bug?

    Thanks
