May as well with two other speedsters there.

What 2 other speedsters are you talking about?  DeSean Jackson's hands are def not good enough to be a possession WR, and his speed is killing.  Maclin is like the same though.

    Yes, those two speedsters.

Surveybob, based on that you definitely sounded like there are 2 "other" speedsters besides Maclin, so they can turn Maclin in a possession WR.

Giants and Eagles lose this past weekend, hope Romo and the boys come out fighting vs ATL this week.

The boys have an easy one coming up against the Seahawks.

It will be interesting how Julius Jones will do against the team that let him go.  Hard feelings against the Cowboys, perhaps.  Seattle will need more than just Jones to beat the Cowboys.  They need Romo to go back to his old ways of making mistakes in order to have a chance in winning.

Good luck everyone in your week 8 fantasy football pool.

Austin did not have his monster type of games today, but 4 for 61 and 1 TD is still great.  He's def a must start in fantasy leagues now.  Seattle did not put up much of a fight after the score was 10-14.

    Re: Cowboy's

I'm surprised that Seattle didn't play well against the Cowboys.  Julius Jones had an average game, Hasselback was not on his game, and I feel bad for Burleson who did not get many balls thrown to him.  Maybe sign Shaun Alexander again and try and go back in time.

The Cowboys are starting to play extremely well, and here's hoping that this leads to a playoff spot.

Funny how things have changed. Now the Giants look down and the Cowgirls up.

Julius is way past his prime.  Signing Alexander to a 6-yr deal when he was like 28 was the biggest joke ever.

The Cowboys are a very dangerous team.  If Ware starts to play well, tht's not good for the rest of the division.

    Re: Cowboy's

The more teams figure out Austin, it will be tough for Romo to hook up with him all the time.  Austin was great for two games and was good the last game, but the total yards is starting to drop by each game.  Seattle isn't the best on covering guys, but somehow they were able to limit the number of yards for Austin.

The running game needs to be used more for in order for Dallas to keep winning.

Yes def, with Barber, Jones, and Choice, they can run on anybody.  Witten has to be utilized more as well.  Williams rly needs to step up instead of running his mouth.  Run crisper routes, damn it!

that certainly was a nice game by the Cowboys tonight, not only defeating the Eagles, but doing so in Philly and holding that offense down.

with the Giants fading quite horribly, the Cowboys have a good shot to win that NFC East.

I'd never thought the Giants would be so bad this year

What happened to Greenbay that Tampa beat them?

They played bad in all areas, except maybe run defense. Terrible showing. Green Bay people saying fire coach and GM.

    Re: Cowboy's

Like I said in other threads, problems start with the offensive line and Aaron Rodgers.  I do not know anybody who holds on to the football for so long in the pocket.  It's like he's another JaMarcus Russel but he can throw the football especially on slants.  Just throw more slants and do 3 step drop and let Jennings and Jones to do all the work.  Offensive line is a problem, but look at Peyton Manning.  7 sacks all yr and his line this yr is not even tht good.

    Re: Cowboy's

You are so right.  The longer that guy Rodgers holds onto the ball, it's lights out, and a sack.  Just throw the ball and see what happens.  Losing to the Bucs and giving them their first win.  It's not looking good for the Packers.  I also agree that the Packers O-Line is horrible this year.  Rather than give the offense a chance to score, it's the opposing team that takes advantage and either sack Rodgers or grab an INT for a TD.  I thought only Brett Favre throws them INTs.  I guess Rodgers dressed up like Favre and just forgot to take off the costume.

Again, the Packers are looking really rough.  Maybe not even make the playoffs.

And the Cowboys got away with a win, and finally Romo connects with Austin.  Had he thrown more balls to Austin, the score may have been different.  Instead, Roy Williams had more balls thown at him than he had all season.  Still a Cowboys win, but barely.  Eagles looked pretty bad as well.  They need Westbrook back.

    Re: Cowboy's

Honestly, I do not think the Eagles are losing much playing without Brian Westbrook right now.  The only thing that is lacking is the blitz pickup.  McCoy is another similar type of back who is showing promise.  Westbrook's age is up there, so I do not see more good seasons in that guy.

You were so right about Roy Williams.  The Eagles did a ncie job covering Austin and made sure the passing game had to rely on Williams, who answered quite ok to the challenge.
