I was so close to buying $25,000 worth of shares of that company!!!!!! I was just about to buy them this morning when ti was at .54!! I would have sold it first thing monday and made a 29% return!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm so stressing thats $7400 dolalrs i missed out on!! omg!!!!

 who knows.... may be on Monday, CIT will go bankrupt.

I thought about buying CIT for my WSS portfolio today, but decided against the gamble

I would stay away from it.   no big  bank will be willing to save it.  They would  wait until it files for bankruptcy and buy its assets for little money as possible!

I did buy it in the mid 50s cent range and I also bought AUG $1 calls. Helped me recover from a bad couple of weeks.

They still might get their financing.

 with news out about 1-2 hours ago that CIT has secured financing, and, according to the experts, CIT should survive through 2009, it is looking like another gap-up for the markets.

Perhaps we just gap and run to S&P 1000 tomorrow, huh? Only 60 points away, and shouldn't be too hard to do, as bulls slaughter any remaining bears, me included

omg,,,I cashed in big today with cit ,and cit-a,,like $7500,nd $4500 respectively,wow was i surprised on that news fri.,or thur., not sure right now,but glad I did pu me near the top of the rankings,anyways,,good luck guys,and pay good attention to the news,,this will move stocks higher for sure !
