power plants, some use coal, some use 6 oil
yes Iceman and some use Nat gas.but it still dont explain it and I'm not the only one there are a few pro's that feel it shouldnt be that way.
youre a trucker, two words, coal buckets, oil goes up ,fuel goes up, surcharge goes up. only reason I can think of, or that mining is very energy reliant & may be why they are linked???
I read somewhere that as the price for oil goes up there is a higher demand for alternative energy. Still doesn't explain why most oil is used in a liquid fuels process and coal is burned for electricity but I never really understood it. Just my 2 cents.
dem, that is what everyone is lead to believe, the majority use of oil is pharmacuticals and plastic, gas and diesel are refined from the remaining byproduct
If you are looking for COAL shares, buy PCX
Great balance sheet, just offered secondaries. VERY undervalued - PCX.
