NBA Finals - Lakers or Magic?

As a Lakers fan, I am naturally pulling for the Lakers

    I say Lakers in 6

This Magic team are fighters. I didn't think they would make it to the Finals, but here they are. I pick the Lakers and so far I've been wrong so expect Orlando to win!

I would have said Orlando, but after last night's game, it's hard to tell.

Still go with Orlando as it's still early in the series.  Magic in 6.

I'm a Cavs fan but since they lost I'm pulling for the Lakers in 6.

Magic! Nelson is back and is going to help us go all the way.

Nelson had a good 2nd quarter, but nothing after that

he did good, considering a 4-month absent

The problem with Jameer is that he was away when Orlando continued to win throughout the playoffs.  Now that Jameer is in the lineup, it took away the chemistry and minutes from Magic players who contributed during the playoffs.  I'm sure Rafer is not happy of losing minutes.

Lakers won last night and now leads 2-0.  Looks like Lakers in 6, but the Magic plays well at home so it might not be over for them.

I absolutely agree with you, Stan.

Had the Lakers dominated in Game 2 the way they did in the first game, I'd have say it would be a sweep.

But, given how well the Magic played in Game 2, even with 20 turnovers, and barely missing out on a victory, I have a feeling they'll win 2 of 3

As a Lakers fan, I am rooting for Lakers to win in Game 6-7, because I'd like to see them win at home; but then again, the longer the series drags out, the better chance the Magic have.

And it was that missed layup by Orlando's Courtney Lee that sent the game to overtime.

Had Courtney sank that shot, this series would have been tied.

Game 3 will determine whether it will be a sweep or 5 or 6 games.

well, a nice 4-point victory as the Magic shot lights out

wow, 75% in the 1st half?

and Kobe misses 5 of 10 free throws?

this will definitely be an interesting series

Definitely the Magic deserved to win that game.  Kobe's free throw shooting was exactly like when LeBron was struggling with his.

Gasol had an average game, so did Odom.  Both need to step it up if the Lakers hope to win one in Orlando.

Game 4 should be good.  I think Orlando has the momentum that they can beat L.A.

i think the lakers will defend better in game 4; after all, can the magic shoot better than 75% in a half?

    lol

It's all over but the crying now 3-1. We have some valuable parting gifts for you Orlando.

I was mad as heck by halftime, with Lakers down by 12 or so

was pleasantly shocked with a fantastic 30-14 3rd quarter

and was joyous with the Fisher three pointers

    whew! what a game!

need to rest after seeing this game

who'd have thought that the Magic would miss something like 15-17 free throws, huh?

    wow

Derek Fisher did what Robert Horry did several years ago for the Lakers.  And that's sink clutch 3-pointers.  Orlando has many great 3-point shooters, but they weren't enough.

Good game where Orlando should have won, but couldn't seal the game.

Lakers back home, so it's more likely over for the Magic.

I'll be surprised if the Magic are able to send it back to LA. They looked like a whipped puppy.

a nice Finals for the Lakers

I am hoping the Celtics are healthy next year, so we can meet them in the Finals and return them the favor for the 2008 debacle

That was an ugly game 5. Definitely not worth watching.

     I enjoyed watching Games 1 and 5

did not enjoy game 3 as the Magic shot 75% in one half and 65% for the game, or something like that.

Looking back, if you supported the Magic, you have to say that they could be winning the series right now if Courtney Lee made his lay-up in game 2, and Dwight Howard made his free throws in game 4 with 11.1 seconds left.
