Butterfly, bee, wasp, moth and other pollinating insect numbers

I am curious to know whether any of you who might garden or farm have noticed any recent changes in the numbers of pollinating insects e.g. bees, wasps, butterflies, moths etc.,... that you are observing outside?

Several months ago, I spoke with my Aunt, an avid gardener, and she commented that both she and another relative of ours have observed significantly fewer bees and butterflies in the garden in the past two years.  This impression also fits my garden observations in a different region of the country (USA).  I realize that many bee hives have been lost in the United States due to colony collapse disorder-- but our observations also relate to other insect pollinators as well.

Has anyone else noticed this situation?

    Thanks for your help!

Yes , I live in MN . and have not seen any bee;s so far this year . Last year their were very few . even at the ball games we did not see as many as in the past years . kind of funny we have not seen any june bugs yet this year , They are always out by now in years past . It has been very windy in the past few days so that might be why too .

Ive seen more bees, bugs, black flies this year than ever.  Interestingly, there is no stock traded as BUG in the United States.

I live in Cleveland, Ohio and there are definitely fewer bees here too.  I've heard many people talk about it.  I wonder what's going on.

In Nebraska this year, I have been watching for pollinating insects closely.  This year I have observed several bumblebees (I'm not sure of the species) but no honey bees so far.  The moths and butterflies are noticeably fewer than in previous years.

I just saw on the news today how a store had to shut down because thousands of bee's were at the front door . and the employee's could not get out . I did not hear where this happened . Just that it happened yesterday .
