The most incoherent story ever told

Thought it might be fun to write a crazy story with the input of all you great people. This may just fizzle away, I don't know.

I love creative writing, but this I've never tried. Just add to it as you wish and let loose. So here goes ...

Jerry the Mouse Pad Guy had just been rubbed by a Microsoft InteliMouse.

The lightning flash showed the silhouette of an outstretched arm, hovering over the back of the chair.

(I guess Barb didn't want this to be a continuation of the "Anyone seen my mousepad" story.)

Jerry reflexively dropped the over-stimulating optical device as his head jerked in the direction of the

awful shriek. Standing now in chiller terror, his mind began to race with visions of what might have prompted the distressed sound.

Was the scream simply from a neighborhood kid or from something that wasn't even human? For a second he thought it sounded like Edna...but hadn't she been dead for years now?

Re: The most incoherent story ever told

Collecting himself, he began to ponder why there must, somehow, be a villian associated with the unseemly events of the last few moments. He took into account the possibility of a personal mental lapse. They had happened some many times before. For instance, why, he wondered, did he purchase SO MANY shares of mousepadsoft stocks? Why? Nobody NEEDED the blasted things anymore. Perhaps Corky could shed light on his apparent psychological crisis. Or was Corky too preoccupied with the futile collection of shiny metal objects? Or could the blind-foldeded, dart-throwing fool come to his aid. Jerry finally determined in his "mind" to seek the truth, he would ask the neighborhood kid to tell him once and for all, who (if anyone) is the villian.

In the corner of the room a glint of something shiny perhaps it was a clue....Jerry gasp in fear....then exhale when he saw it was just Wise picks and Corky playing pick-up sticks with silver and gold sticks.....(you know how corky loves to play the metals)....

Are they real pick-up sticks or could one of them be a weapon and could Wise picks or corky be the villian???.....

Re: The most incoherent story ever told

it wouldn't be that hard...if you just clicked on quote then added your addition to the story...then you don't have to go back to the beginning of the entire story to reread it all over again
