Hi Srinidn. OK....I have done some research since I first read your post..........
First, I do not know a Melanie. I am thinking maybe you mean Melany, who wrote on your wall but is not one of your buddies. I don't know how you can call Melany a spammer. She has a total of 38 friends. Doesn't sound like a spammer to me. She is very nice. I don't know why you would have a problem with her.
Second, you say you have had this complaint with 4 of your friends. A check of your buddy list shows TWO (2) friends. One of them is Peterson515, who I did indeed welcome. I remember asking him about living down by the river in Utah and a river in Colorado. He accepted my friendship and came to write on my wall to congratulate me after I gave birth to Bryden. Your other friend is Sanjay Krishnan. Don't recall if I ever invited her to be a buddy or not. Interestingly, Sanjay has 2 buddies - you and Sinriman666. I know I did not invite Sinriman666 to be my buddy because of the 666 on his name. I may have welcomed him (obviously an alias of you) to the game, but I would not have sent a buddy invite. Here is a deal for you. When you and your "friends" are creating new profiles, put a 666 in it somewhere. Not only will I not send a buddy request, but from now on, I won't even send a welcome. Deal?
There is one person on here who is even more avid about welcoming new friends than I am, though. Her name is not Melanie. She is a WONDERFUL DEAR SWEET PERSON. She NEVER lets a wall message go unanswered. If you keep answering her, she will keep answering you. I swear it could go on all night. She is amazing and I think WSS is lucky she joined.
Third, yes - I am a single mom trying to take care of a kid(Bryden). I work as a security guard and worked the Friday before I gave birth on a Monday - even though I was 3 cm dialated and the doctor wanted to break my water that day, as I was in the early stages of labor. I have been off work for three weeks and am returning to work next week.
May God bless you Srinidn and I sincerely hope you have a happier day tomorrow. You might ask WSS for an option on profiles to automatically refuse all buddy invitations. I know the yahoo game literati allows you to refuse all invitations to play.
