When I referred a friend, I really wanted to include a personal message to them.  I find that this also makes the people more willing to join.  As it is, I have absolutely no idea what was sent to them, so I would not be surprised if they did not accept it.

Here's the message that goes out:

 Many of my friends who I have referred are now members, but I never got the promised 1,500 loyalty points for each.

Really?  I've gotten points for each one I referred.  Are you sure they made a trade?   The new members have to make at least one trade before you get your points.

 Sounds like Duals comment about trading must be true then. Or maybe my friends lied to me about signing up...

I referred my son and husband and never received the points....but that was two contests ago now....so oh well....

 I never got my loyalty points for referring somebody either.  I am guessing that registration wasn't done through the email, but at the website instead.  I really don't know. I wish WSS could look up these things (verify by the email address) and see that they are valid and give us the points then.  Another thing I think they should do is add to the referral email that registration MUST be done by the link in the email for the referring friend to get credit.  However they would want to phrase it.

If your buddy did not follow both links that are required you wont get the points...they recieve first email and click link then sign up then they have to verify again then they have to make the trade, I have refered 4 friends to WSS and have recieved the points for each one

LOL that's right! And the "cheese" is because I'm a Cheesehead by birth. 

Actually, I got it from a local TV news guy who used to always say, "Would like some cheese with that whine?" LOL
