The opportunity for America to meet its Egalitarian ideals and the end of a mindless consumer driven culture.

A one world economy would never work because who would the other countries borrow from when the economy is down for everyone at the same time????? This is what makes each country different.

lol you white dummy a singular currency doesn't reduce the regions responsibility to maintain a stable economy, it actually encourages it.

A one world government isn't based on centralizing the responsibilities of current borders, it's about creating a centralized market place for a world that will inevitably offer more than one place to live and work. For instance Brazil is going beyond the possibilities of America who is desztined for a service culture because it has balanced it's green energy commitments(sic) with it's vast oil reserves.

Americans just have to get used to the idea that they can stay as rich as they want to be as long as they don't consume everything they think they're supposed to have because more people around the world are wanting the same things and demand is out pacing demand.

    Soju, thanks for the reply.

But you lost me and most readers with the unnecessary and rude white dummy comment.

People with valid and reasonable points to make do not have to resort to insults to get their point across, so I automatically find a post that begins with an insult to another blogger as suspect.

You know the old saying it takes a dummy to see a dummy comes to mind instantly. I can see validity in the points you were trying to make, but just out of curiosity what kind of dummy are you, another white dummy, just an American dummy, or a dummy from another nationality ?

I don't suppose you would care to expand more on the impact of global economy in a more intelligent form than insults lend to a discussion ?

Very good, Soju. Other than your childish comment. I  completely agree with your proclamation. Especially the part about America becoming a service industry. (not altogether a great, long-term idea) And, as far as a one-world centralized government is concerned, balony. We're already heading in that direction very quickly. Only what most of us don't realize is that, it won't be a centralized Civilian controlled government. Instead if we continue on this course of letting the "Corporates" do as they please, with no oversight or regulation, the logical end, is a world dominated and totally controlled, eventually, by a few world-wide corporations.Talk about centralization.

    p.s. Grow-Up.

    Carpe Diem.!!

So if we do go to just one world-wide currency will it be the Amero ( I have no idea if it is true or not but I read somewhere  that the Amero is Bush's vision for a singular currency. )

Seti03 I agree, I think the bigger corporations already have a lot of power and pull in the government.

    Bob,

How so?  A person or a government can not spend itself into prosperity.
