I can not believe how terrible I am doing.  I did much better last game and I hate having to rebuy stocks I had at a higher price and they all went up when the new game started.  Now I am barely staying out of the basement and I have seriously thought of hitting the reset button but then the stocks would all be more again.  I think they should keep the game going without the stop and start.  The market is terrible 350 drop in one day, wow that is something.  They 7 dollars a gallon for gas in 2 yrs who will be able to drive?

I just hate this new game I am just doing so bad.

Dont worry about it, you came into a market that is one of the worse in years, keep learning, when we pull out of this and we hit a bull market you'll do well =)

Right now it's a guessing game and guessing right makes you money, but in the real world guessing can also make you broke so research research research

Too bad i closed out all my shorts on wednesday before close....wasn't around yesterday and obviously we had a huge down day....would have been good if i kept my shorts...but i went long instead....doh!

YOU HAVE TO LOOK AT VOLUME & EARNINGS PER SHARE.HIGH EARNINGS PER SHARE AND LOW VOLUME IS USUALLY A BUY SIGN,ESPECIALLY IF COMPANY STOCK PRICE IS DOWN.

I just dumped everything I had and started over. I'm in US Steel (X) and Cleveland Cliffs (CLF). We'll see what happens...

mnangelmom - sounds like you are an investor rather than a trader, and if you are in for the long haul, there will definitely be ups and downs.  You may want to consider doing a little more trading and finding stocks that you can either short, or research stocks that are doing well at this time.  There are a lot of really good stocks that are down right now, but will more than likely come back with time.    And if it is any consolation, a lot of people are down right now, I know I am!!!  Good Luck!!

It's called a Bear Market one of the worse times to try and make money especially if you only know how to trade in a Bull Market
