    Books for Newbies

I recommend a book that has been out-of-print for years but it is well worth reading.

Lewis Owen  HOW WALL STREET DOUBLES MY MONEY EVERY THREE YEARS

It can be obtained CHEAPLY from AbeBooks.com

Owen's advice is spot on even today, and he writes with humor, too.

    Check it out !

Another good book is "24 Essential Lessons for Investment Success" by William J. O'Neil (Founder of Investors Business Daily).  There are some great tips on how to survive in the market no matter if it is bullish or bearish.

William O'Neill "How to make money in stocks" and "How to make money selling stocks short"

One thing about these books though...he is teaching a bull market strategy...there is still alot to learn though

You know what book helped me out with atleast understanding teminology and how the markets works from behind the scenes. Stock Investing for Dummies. I'm not sure if it's a great book as it's the only one i've read so far but coming from no knowledge it was very helpful and simple to read.

I was going to buy that book, but the author made mention in it if you dont have at least $10,000 to invest at the start, dont bother...is basically what he said and that bugged me. William Oneil will tell you right from the get go that anyone with $500 can make a fortune it's all up to you and how well you learn
